Power steering pump durability
Earlier today I had a steering rack seal failure causing most of power steering fluid to escape (nearly instantly). It happened while driving, so I noticed it only when I lost all power steering, meaning the power steering pump was running dry for a few minutes until I could pull over and get a tow....

RS4 B7 H&R anti-roll bars
Not sure if this is the right subforum for such a post (feel free to move if it's not) but I noticed that Amazon are currently giving away H&R anti-roll bars for RS4 B7 basically for free. https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B002OF00RW As of right now, the price is 77.78 EUR + shipping, which is p...

Re: Sanity check: price for RNS cancel and RNS delete
425 to twist 4 caps at the end of the lines? That is outrageous in my opinion! Yes. I saw some posts from 2014 where people were complaining for these costing about 100, but with Covid shortages of everything the 425 might be the new norm, hence the question. I hope the quoted price is actually for...

Sanity check: price for RNS cancel and RNS delete
Had KW V3 coilovers and H&R 33250-2 anti-roll bars installed on my RS4 Avant a few days ago. Sadly, the KW package did not include the DRC cancelation kit. This isn't a problem for me as I have zero intention of ever going back to DRC, but exposed oil lines might be a problem for the Swiss officials...

Coilover conversion - labour time?
Just a sanity check when talking to a garage:
When converting an RS4 B7 from a stock DRC to a coilover setup (KW V3, in particular), how many hours of labour shall the operation take?

Re: RNS-E fan noise
Just realised that I didn't report back on this. So I disassembled the RNS and found what looked like remains of a CD label that shredded from spinning and were all over the drive bay. There was no dust whatsoever. After vacuuming the internals and putting it back together the RNS has been working p...

RNS-E fan noise
In recent weeks, the RNS-E unit inside my car has started producing what seems to be fan noise. It takes at least ~3000 rpm engine noise or ~120 kph wind noise for the RNS-E noise to fade in the background. The RNS-E noise always appears after 10-15 minutes of driving irrespective of RNS-E being on ...

Re: Partout - RS4 B7 Avant
Hi there, Did you Avant have heated rear seats? If so I’m after one of the roller dials that controls them. You could send both out the whole trim piece if you can’t want to sent just one. Cheers  I know it was an optional extra, but my car didn't. I really no longer have anything beyond it...

Re: Partout - RS4 B7 Avant
Hi. Would you be willing to sell the steering wheel without the airbag and post to the UK? If so how much do you want without the airbag? Thanks. Andy. Hi Andy. Shipping to UK for the steering wheel would be 10 Euros with DHL or 13 Euros with PostNL (delivered on your end by Royal Mail). I'd price ...

Re: Partout - RS4 B7 Avant
Sorry about that. The front brakes were indeed in no shape for resale, which is why I didn't touch them.

Re: Partout - RS4 B7 Avant
Hi how much for the rear door cards plus shipping to the UK? I'm interested in both seats and the steering wheel. Please let me know the price. I"m based in Australia, but can have a freight forwarder pick up the items, provided they are packaged against damage in transit and on a pallet or similar...
