I came across this thread almost 3 years after the last comments and took a total punt that mirrorjohn.com may still be supplying this auto dimming rear view mirror glass for my RS6 C5 Avant…. Just had 2 r v mirrors upgraded by MirrorJohn. He also fitted the new glass to the casings for me. Superb job done and a really quick service. The problem with the door mirrors is the heating element glued to the glass and then all of it is glued in to the base plate/holder
