Re: C5 to C7
I really wanted one with HUD but sadly I hardly use it. It’s a nice toy and useful with the SatNav but that’s about it for me... When I’m really speeding, I know I’m going license worryingly fast without seeing the speed on the windscreen - instead, I’m concentrating looking 200m down the road! Adap...

Re: Exhaust valves
Which fuse do you need to pull? And do you have to do that with them open? Or is it not that simple?

Re: Deformed Wheels Register
Went to check out a very slight vibration today... found out I had all 4 wheels buckled - 3 quite badly!
Booked it in to Lepsons to see if they can straighten them for £80+VAT a wheel... has anyone got experience of them or if having buckled wheels straightened?

Re: Wrapping Mirrors Fail
The mirrors arrived quickly and well packaged - that’s the good but... I fitted the mirrors which pretty straightforward but hen removed them straight away! Maybe I was unlucky but the fit around the indicators was terrible... see phots vs original. I spend a while seeing if there was anything I cou...

Re: Wrapping Mirrors
Looks great. Did they take the roof rails off to wrap them or do them in situ?

Re: Wrapping Mirrors
Thx loads, had a few cycling bits from Ali express so think I’ll take the plunge. Watched a video online on removing the covers and looks straightforward enough.... fingers crossed

Wrapping Mirrors
I’ve got a black car with everything black and some carbon details... but I’ve got the Matt aluminium mirrors... they just don’t look right to me! Mine have got the 360 camera lenses on them... not sure if that makes a difference. I know I can get some genuine carbon replacements but wanted to avoid...

Re: Smashed windows
Slightly different but... I had a bike stolen by being cut off the roof rack. I called the insurance company to ask if I was covered and they told me I wasn’t as it was outside the vehicle and left unattended... so I didn’t claim as I couldn’t. A few months later when the renewal came up, they said ...

Re: RS6 In The snow?
If I could avoid it I would. Mines been out with summer Dunlop’s for last few days and it’s been very sketchy. Had an unexpected sideways slide on a dual-carriage way, squeaky bum time.... best avoid if you can, unless you have winter tyres and that case what are you for, get out and have some fun!
