I had the same issue with both front lower blades. I had a guy split them and removed all the rusted metal. Sprayed up and reinstalled and that worked out well. Looking at the car now you’d never know.

I’d be up for this [emoji106]. We did something similar on the Yamaha forum I’m on. Think we managed to get around 120-130ish bikes in one place a mix of R1’s & R6’s. They used the British Motor Museum as the meet up point as it was done through the forum.
