Cambelt change - yes or no?
It's about 4 years since the last cambelt change on my RS6, but the cars only done 12k miles since this was done. Should I still get it changed or can I wait a bit longer as there's not been much wear on the current cambelt? Also what's the going rate for a cambelt change these days if I do go ahead...

RS6 Plus top speed, restricted & unrestricted?
Apologies, I've tried to find this information on the site, but get too many results, none giving a definitive answer.
Am I right in saying these cars are restricted to 174 mph, but unrestricted will do 190mph?
Thanks

Re: H and R coil overs - worn out?
There's a binding noise coming from them.
I agree that they're "crashy".
If I am looking at replacements which are the best to go for if not H and R?

H and R coil overs - worn out?
My C5 RS6 Avant had H and R coil overs fitted by the previous owner 5 years ago with less than 20k miles since.
However, despite low mileage etc they appear to be on the way out.
Is this usual?

Thanks
I should have mentioned that I'm based near Heathrow, hence an hour or so from there would suit best.

Alcantara headlining - replace/repair
The alcantara headlining on my C5 RS6 has started sagging a bit. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good company to repair or replace it? From what I've been told replacement is more likely due to the sponge backing used behind the alcantara decaying. Trimmania have been recommended, but I'd...

Supplying dealer code number 998
I'm trying to fill in the gaps in the history of my C5 RS6. The supplying dealer was apparently 998. Audi UK don't know who this is and say they think it was a demo car or purchased on contract. I know that the first service was at Wayside Audi Milton Keynes - 353. Does anyone know who 998 is? Thanks

Re: For sale - 2004 C5 Plus number 150
I do wonder if you've undervalued No.150.
I've just had my Plus valued for an agreed value policy with Adrian Flux. They made me use an independent IAEA engineer.
http://www.iaea-online.org/
He's come back with a figure of £19750. The car has 83,000 miles on it.

Re: Anyone seen any +'s for sale/sold
Quentin Willson wrote an article on C5 RS6 Avant's in the Jan 2018 edition of Classic Cars.
His view is that the starting point for RS6 Plus Avants is at least £20k.
You may be able to order a back copy or find one on eBay.

Re: Recommendations for a good company to fit Tracker
PM'd Nick, but he hadn't put on one from Tracker. Ended up going with a "Tracker Locate" from Mobile Systems.

They did a really good job and definitely know their stuff.
