Avus B5 RS4 600+bhp
Here we have my 2000-X plate B5 RS4 for sale, this car has been maintained regardless of cost and is understandably my pride and joy. This car has had a serious amount of money invested in it with a paper trail of invoices for nearly all work carried out in its history. Basic car spec is an X Reg Av...

Re: professional full respray. ballpark price for a good job
Mines started at 3k then got more when I started replacing bumpers and clips, pulling windows and body mods. stay.away.from.howelling.howell!!! Absolutely reamed my mate, painted a show winning car after giving a 2.2k in the metal quote. When the car was ready sent him an amended bill for 7.8k! Yes...

The front hotchkis bars are not adjustable, i'd set the rear to hard on the RS6.

RE: Dead speedo advice required
Speedo heads do go but i'd be more inclined to investigate the drive gear first. If the needle twitches when your driving, try tapping the top of the instrument binicle to see if that helps. Also, make sure the dials aren't peeling round the needles, more common on S2's, especially around the rev co...

The exhaust cams are more or less always in contact with oil (in the bottom of the cylinder head) dead mafs, sensors and longlife servicing is bad, period. The only other thought is that the back exhaust cam is right next to the exhaust manifold collector, if that has any thing to do with it. It cou...

RE: Re: RE: brakes and remap
Rear brakes alone are around 1k new. Stock clutch will be fine as long as its ok to start with. Milltek cats are around 1300.
Custom map is the key tho. Do you trust custom code after what happened with darrens?

[quote="W8PMC This was way back in the original AmD days & TBH the mods went more than a tad further than JUST AmD's Stage 3  as the car had alot of Sportec hardware on top of the AmD/Milltek kit, including oversized Intercoolers, engine & gearbox Oil Coolers, carbon fibre ducting, bespoke pipi...

I see AMD stage 3 is upto +70bhp and 70ft/lbs of torque. More like a 520bhp car?
