Can the TPMS be disabled via Vag-Com?

Ok, so I managed to do the physical install with no issues, but I cannot get the RNSE unit to recognise my ipod :( Got the right AMI unit, right ipod lead etc, but under the media menu it just displays the 2 SD cards, Nav DVD and 'external audio source' on the screen as though nothing is plugged in,...

I have a similar problem, when I bought the car the brakes were clearly warped. We changed the discs and about 5,000 miles later, I'm getting the same warped feeling....
