Re: Ban on new petrol/diesel car reportedly to be brought forward to 2030

With the current price of EVs I can’t see this being a viable promise. They need to come down a whole lot more before general public will consider it. I recently read an article on the topic where it claimed EVs start carbon negative as it’s so damaging to refine the battery materials in the first p...

Re: Exhaust Options

Think it’s the other way round with Millteks, they used to have some quality control issues with the welds going back 10 years or so now but have upped their game since and appear to be well regarded for quality these days.

Re: V8 For The Win

I think it's important too only take this as banter. No for anyone to get too serious. I did actually work out the Miles per Snickers on my bike. One Snickers bar works out at about 12 miles, assuming you putting some effort in. Of course, especially because we all know the only superior engine is ...

Re: V8 For The Win

Not sure I’ve heard the term 4 banger before but I presume it’s street lingo for inline 4?

Easily overcome this problem, K20 stock form, 150bhp shot of nitrous. More economic with spray turned off and faster with it on. Win win!

Re: Rs6 c5 initial start up rattle

Cam chain rattle before they get oil pressure to top of heads for lubrication? If I remember correctly the manual even states this is a normal occurrence and to disregard it?

Re: Wanted: rs6 c5 avant

Check out Millenium Heroes they currently have my old car up for sale, strong money but it’s a beautiful example and all major jobs have been done including a recent gearbox rebuild and cambelt, drives faultlessly.

And I don’t own the car anymore so there’s no commission or the sorts going on

Re: Turbo whistle or transmission...

Genuine Audi pads up front, fitted with the discs some 6000 miles ago. I was quite thorough with the history folder everything should be in there. You may also come across a report from MRC late 2018 who I asked to do a very strict health check on. Some minor issues were noted and over the course of...

Re: Turbo whistle or transmission...

It’s been less than 2000 miles since a transmission change with genuine fluid and filters done at MRC. Please check history folder the invoice should be in there.

My previous car, very well cared for example no expense spared. Enjoy it and look after her!

Regards.

Given the forthcoming apocalypse, I find that the RS6 has excellent Mad Max potential.

Its value in Guzzolene is shooting up at the moment.

Have I read that right?

They wanted them sent to them before paying you any money. :?
Pretty much yeah, fortunately I’ve been buying and selling stuff to car enthusiasts for years now and can spot a time waster a mile off.
