Do what i did. Buy through audi. But bargain two years warranty in the purchased. Then you know you got 2 year trouble free. Worked for me

Done all there services, gearbox oil due in about 3000 miles. Luckily got Audi warranty until April next year. Gonna book it in Monday

Needs the fault codes read but potentially a mechatronic issue. Other Audi S-tronic cars like S4's suffered from a PCB failure in that unit.
