Re: REVO

Agreed. This is a hint to all of the hardware guys out there. Build an electric DV and we will write the code to actuate it! Does anyone know the output voltage to the N249?

Funny Rob, see you Saturday!

Re: Remaps

New S3 code planned for the end of 03. Not a huge difference mind you, but a bit more selection in certain areas and a bit less in others. Should be more powerful and a bit smoother. We have also added fuel control to the SPS 3, not yet released to the public as we need to decide how much room we ar...

Re: REVO

I don't think so... the larger area of the APR Bipipe will slow the velocity and probably help the problem. I wish there was a way to log the N249 valve input signal... I have long suspected it is a less than exact control loop. On one of the SEAT codes there is a mistake from the factory that cause...

Re: REVO

The velocity of the air would need to be damn quick for that to happen but it is certaily possible. Just out of curiosity are your valves positioned with the input line facing up or facing each other? If the pressure side is working against the bottom of the piston it is not as good as if it is work...

Re: Remaps

I don't think you should wait! But then again I am possibly a bit biased! Honestly, any of the major tuners can give you a good remap. And I agree you need to try as many remaps as you can before handing over your hard earned. If someone won’t let you try it, don’t buy it. I know, that is easy for m...

Re: REVO

Copper lube...slip, stuff. Not sure, I bought a tin of it at German Swedish and it's in a blue container. Redline make a great synthetic grease but I like the copper stuff better. On the springs... Just remember there is pressure on both sides of the DV. In a perfect world this pressure would always...

Re: REVO

Andy and I modified the Forge springs to fit the AmD valve. It worked great, just a bench grinder and bit off the bottom of the spring and if fits right up. I don't suggest everyone go out and buy the red springs, they are too aggressive if you are running normal boost levels. The blues that Dippy r...

Re: REVO

New and shiny Forge 006's on with the never popular red springs! And Tim, you were right! I can't believe how bad the car ran with the blown DV's. When you said hesitation I didn't imagine it could be that bad! I miss my 6 BAR fuel pressure regulator too! I need to get another one... Are you getting...
