Depending how far back they have gone, MRC in Banbury charge circa £660 for the wheel off fix, and QS Tuning in Sussex can also fix without engine out not sure on cost though. Hope that helps bud.

Have you looked at the E63 AMG Merc, thunderous when decatted and resonators deleted, obviously not as quick as a tuned C6 but still go like the clappers

I just paid £125 for mine from a trade shop, be very careful when taking the positive terminal off, under the plastic cover is a small 30amp fuse held beneath 2 nuts and it will snap with the slightest movement. Only 4.86 to replace but a pain to locate one.

Ok sorry so I've got it sorted. There in a 30amp fuse connected to the battery terminal which is a little poor design really as when you take the positive terminal off the battery you break the fuse link - unless you know it's there and are very careful I assume it runs to the fuel pump or fuel pum...

In reflection to the current market the asking price is now 30k with a bit of negotiation to be had. As all petrolheads know it’s hard to price your own car realistically when you’ve spent circa 4K in short ownership. Now advertised on PistonHeads
