Re: Exhaust valve control

I have also fitted the Cete AVC, it is rather overpriced i think, but seems to work well and installation was pretty simple.

The hardest part is trying to get the exhaust plugs off which is a bit tricky and will require small hands.

Re: B9 RS4 TPMS _ changing to non-OEM alloys

When I changed alloys on my B9 I got aftermarket sensors to avoid having to swap them around and any errors. Seems to work ok and behaves as per factory sensors.

Can’t remember the manufacturer but can dig them out if You need.

Re: 28k miles in, and still happy

Had mine since 05/18 and have done 15k miles and still happy. No major issues, except thermostat and an issue with front camera sensor thing behind the rear view mirror, which caused some issues with auto head lights and some warning lights. But still loving the car. My only complaint is the steerin...

Re: Cooling fans go wild.

My RS4 has also gone in today with what sounds like a broken thermostat issue as others have posted on here. Fan's going crazy on startup, resulting in oil not coming up to temp. Also got a check engine light on and warning that start / stop is not working. Also coolant temps are also one notch abov...

Re: All issues and niggles with the B9 RS4

Car is currently with Audi as of Last Friday 12th of July. Had some warning lights that came on the Dash. 1. Audi side Assist and exit warning system fault. 2. Automatic Headlight fault. I had this issue before back in Feb, but went after a few days, whilst waiting for an appointment with the dealer...

Dark/Clear - Rear Light Clusters - Audi Part

Has anyone here replaced their rear tail lights with the Audi Clear/Dark Tinted version? if so, is it a direct swap and was it easy to fit? I have seen a few cars on insta with them on and look pretty good. https://shops.audi.com/en_GB/web/zubehoer/p/led-rear-lights-8w9052100-9?category=8003:904_ASO...

Re: Brake Noise (Squealing)

Not surprisingly, the squeaking came back the very next day. Took them a week to resolve ( or rather not resolve ) apparently waiting on Audi HQ.

I will most likely speak to them again and see what Audi have to say.

Re: Brake Noise (Squealing)

Ok so they called this morning and Audi HQ have advise that no replacement is forthcoming.

instead they are going to deglaze the pads and apply some "new lithium ion grease" to the backing plate. Sounds like a load of b***ocks to me, but going straight back to them if it doesn't solve it.

Re: Brake Noise (Squealing)

Had a quick look at the technical service manuals on ERWIN and couldn't see anything specific for the Squealing issues, hence i suppose either people have accepted it or Audi are turning a blind eye to it. I mentioned to the service adviser that other people on various forums are reporting it, and h...

Re: Brake Noise (Squealing)

My car is currently with the local dealers for the brakes as i have just got fed up with them. Doing the hard braking thing, whilst it works, i don't think we should be needing to do this. Its a joke. So they have had my car for 2 days now and they have said they are awaiting for Audi to advise on w...

Eventuri Intake

Anyone got an intake for their RS4 yet? Thinking to get one, but not much out there yet. Found this, but seems abit pricey @ nearly £1500. Most likely due to Carbon. I am hoping racingline do something more sensible. Don't need the carbon tbh. Does look very good though. http://www.eventuri.net/wp-c...
