Re: Koni shock absorbers

err i am not selling anything ,nor advocating a4 shocks, although physically they will fit, indeed anything intended for the bigger engined varients of the a4 quattro range will fit-its up to the end user i suppose-when i bought mine years ago it had a sub £200 jom kit and was actually ok[ish] but i ...

Carbon clean question (again!)

Quick question guys. Intending doing a carbon clean soon and removing the inlet flaps to remove the risk of engine failure with loose screws etc. Am I correct in saying the flaps can be removed by just unscrewing them off the arms , leaving the arms/spindle in position therefore not needing a remap ...

Re: Front discs

Reyland sell just the rotors using the mounting bells from the original discs hence saving quite a bit .

Re: Replacing DRC Shocks

I fitted the Koni dampers 18 months ago on mine and kept the oe springs . Having read all the threads about coilovers and from my past experience on various other cars fitted with coilovers I reckoned it would be too stiff for daily/family transport. At the time not many people had fitted the Koni's...

Re: RS4 Cabriolet + tow hitch

Think you might struggle for advice on this one as doubt many people have fitted a towbar as the rs4 is not approved for towing . I know your only using it for a cycle carrier so not as if any great weight that would cause stress on transmission etc but think most people are put off regarding possib...

Re: RS4 B7 Oil Cooler

I bought the oil cooler from Radtec recently. On eBay for 360 but I made them an offer of 325 and got it for that. Don't see the point in buying a used one as likely not to have much life left in it .

Re: B7 RS4 FORSALE

Is price not quite high given mileage and saloon are usually cheaper than avant? Car does sound well looked after . Only thing that would put me off is the fact it went for over 30k miles without a service fairly early in its life (35k and then nothing till almost 68k miles!) .

I’m happy with the mats. They are black, but they look good. It’s nice to have a contrast in the cockpit from the dull anthracite.
Did you go for the boot mat as well as that looked good?

Does this fit over the front brakes or is it only suitable to fit on the rear ?
