Ok mate my brother had s3 gearbox gone in his 2017 s3 and map was removed and they changed the gearbox under warranty. Anything can be hacked by the right people even if its audi or apple .

I went with Apr tune and when my car suffered from a burst coolant pipe i simply got the guys at my tuning place to take off the Map and sent it in and they repaired it without any signs off the ecu being tuned before. Maybe you have to use a experianced specialist tuning garage who knows what they ...
