Re: Rs4 B7, reverse lights and reverse parking sensors gone mad??

Mine has been doing it for a couple of weeks too, bloody annoying and slightly worrying for drivers behind too.

We seem to be getting confused between PS4 and PS4S; very different beasts.
Absolutely, I had a set of PSS fitted today and was torn between them or the PS4S. That's why I knew the price lol

Re: Steering wheel trim and mirrors painted

These look great, also noticed someone on the Facebook group has just had his wheel bits done in carbon fibre. Both of these options are very tempting tbh.

Re: Cold start : smells like something burning

If it's a burning oil smell my guess would be a minor leak on a rocker cover gasket, a little oil building up on the pipes overnight then being cooked off in the morning. I had this, just needed tightened.

Re: Clutch pedal doesnt come up

I think it is a vacuum issue, or a lack thereof. The pedal becomes heavier in both directions of travel after sustained full throttle driving. Sequential applications of full throttle such as redlining in the first three gears can induce the pedal to remain on the floor. This is especially so if mu...

Re: “S” button after remap..

Having had the chance to play about with the car today, I think the difference now between S button on/off is quite obvious. To my arse dyno, I would also say it feels a wee bit more responsive at lower revs now too. I will keep it for a couple of weeks and see how it does, if it still seems fine th...

Enjoy! :thumb: if it’s <beep>, remove and go to MRC. Great maps!
Hehe, can't really justify a 700 mile round trip for a tune 😀

Do you not notice much difference is Sport mode then?
Not had a chance to do any spirited driving yet Marc, it was rush hr traffic when I was taking it back home.
I will get out in it this morning, go round a few local B roads etc and see if there's any difference.

Re: “S” button after remap..

Thanks matey, the model specific data on the APR site claims that the remap optimises throttle response, so pretty much false advertising then. There is a 30 day refund period, so think I will get it removed.
