Anyone done anything similar so the spoiler doesn't deploy at all? T...

Re: New owner to the C7! (Snuck my old C5 RS6 in too for forum points)

Not quite, matrix LED headlights makes a huge difference. I looked at the pre facelift and then I went to look at the facelift and personally the difference is huge with regards to the Matrix headlights which are epic imo. They look so good and they transform the night driving compared to other car...

Afternoon gang! So I have been C5 RS6 Owner now for about 4 years now and throughout I've been lurking on this forum for tips/advice and it's been a fountain of knowledge to be fair! Recently got myself into a position to purchase another RS6. Albeit I always aspired to a V10 C6. But with the motto...

Cheers. Is it a bumper off job to get the headlight out ?
Yes

You do not have to remove the bumper to remove the headlights. I had mine out at the weekend and it took me 5 minutes to remove them. Once loose, it is possible to manoeuvre them out with the ballast attached

Re: OSF Knocking, struggling to pinpoint! Help appreciated

Sounds like the bolt was a red herring and the wd40 temporarily fixed the creaking. So it seems. I am going to spray it all again and see if it goes away and then wait for it to come back just to spray each joint individually and hopefully track the fault down Every item is new and they are genuine...

Re: OSF Knocking, struggling to pinpoint! Help appreciated

Re: EML issues, Odd running issues, codes in thread *FIXED*

As a conclusion to this FIXED Took the C5 to Unit 20, they serviced the gearbox as normal and one of the technicians spent 1 hour on the car doing diagnostics for the fault above. Turns out it was the airbox seals that were not seated properly, or the airbox not seated properly. They fixed the prob...

Air leak is the most obvious thing to check. Maybe SAI combination valves. Check those and the vac hoses.
Do you think a smoke test would show any air leaks? Maybe this is something Unit 20 will be able to do?
