Re the RS6, I think the bells are different although the discs themselves are the same.

SOLD - RS4 B7 New front Brembo brake disc's with pads
Having sold my RS4 B7 I never got to use the new front disc's and pads I bought, I got them from ECP at the 50% rate I think they cost me around £550 for the lot. The disc's have never been opened, the pads have, just to make sure they were correct. So all still in boxes and ready to go to a new hom...

Re: falling out of love, coil packs and sticking clutch
I was wondering if the clutch spring might be an issue others are experiencing with their peddles sticking halfway and thinking it's the clutch, might be interesting to see who's changed their clutch and still had a sticking peddle. The part that was seized on mine was the over centre clutch peddle ...

falling out of love, coil packs and sticking clutch
I've been bored of my RS4 for a while now, not that it's a bad car but I rarely keep a car over a year and I've had this coming up to 3 now. It's got 145k on it and I've tried selling it but without success, I've sold it 3 times on ebay. First time i was stupid enough to end the auction for a cash o...

Re: Fitting coilovers, drop links and lower arms
OK, coming up to 11 months in and i'm going to say avoid these. The ride was too firm to start with at the front, it then settled in after a few weeks though. around 9 months in and the front near side seemed to offer reduced damping action and now seems to have lost most it, the car is very floaty ...

Re: Fitting coilovers, drop links and lower arms
so a few weeks in now with the XYZ setup. I followed the initial advice and let the car settle and did a few thousand miles and it's all nice and level now and the ride is just about perfect with spot on handling. So all in I think they provide a good solution but be aware that the struts need to be...

Re: Fitting coilovers, drop links and lower arms
so done around nearly a thousand miles since putting the XYZ coilovers on and as per Tommy C's advice I haven't adjusted the damping yet. I did have a quick go at trying to adjust the rear ride height but that proved fruitless as it seems you really need to drop the subframe again to gain access and...

Re: Value of a Cat D avant with 60k miles?
I've repaired quite a few cat d and cat c cars and can reliably tell you a few things. When you're buying one sellers will say it's worth 20% less due to the recorded accident, in reality it's probably worth more like 33% less and that's what an insurance company will look to pay you out if the wors...

Re: Fitting coilovers, drop links and lower arms
It's a nice thought but don't really want to go drilling holes in the inner wings and I think even if I did trying to get it in exactly the right place would prove problematics, thanks for the idea though. The front shouldn't be too hard to adjust, 3 bolts to undo on the topmount plate and I should ...

Fitting coilovers, drop links and lower arms
So my DRC died with corroded pipes and misting rear shocks :boohoo:, the local stealers came in at £3200 for new pipes and rear shocks which wasn't going to work for me. :audibash: So coilovers was the way forward and I started to look at what was out there. B14's seemed like a reasonable bet but al...
