Re: Car mats.
Evening guys. The Mats came from Germany - Company called Profimats2025. Not the cheapest at £150 however i paid not far off that for my other mats purchased last year and hated the look of them, partly the choice of colour and have to say i too already have a major flat spot on those, and no high h...

Re: Car mats.
Hi all thought I would add to the Mats topic as I have also been on the search for some alternatives. Moulded non OEM seem to be impossible to come by and i ordered a set last year which fitted ok but I made an arse of the colour (You will see one in the image showing the rear mats) as should have w...

Re: Drivers Wing Mirror Glass - Part No query
Hi Craig,
Had a look at the build sheet (Good shout) - Right exterior mirror 6TS Right exterior mirror, aspherical, large viewing field. Unsure if the 6TS was an old number that goes after 8D0857536. Unable to find a reference to it anywhere with the 6TS extension.

Drivers Wing Mirror Glass - Part No query
Evening all, I have noticed my drivers side antidazzle wing mirror glass with backing plate looks to have started to discolour (Looks slightly gold) The passenger one i think looks clear, although could argue it has a very very light blue tint. Anyway I was looking at AT and they have several option...

Re: Help Please - Coolant Pipe Burps!

No comfort i am sure but at least you know how to get the intake off. Fingers crossed it maybe the clip position...

Re: Petrol / Help / VCDS
If that’s the first scan I would be very happy with that. As Ben has said clear the faults. Run the car for a few days and then rescan to see what comes back. Wouldn’t be too concerned about the radio or the central locking at the moment. I have both of these error codes. I would be looking to see ...

Re: Petrol / Help / VCDS
Thanks both will order one from Autodoc or directly from Audi as a spare. I have ran a further Auto scan after running the car for a good 15 minutes. I will do a separate scan on 01 engine as you suggest later on. VCDS Log taken after a 15 minute run. Sunday,02,February,2025,01:08:11:20920 VCDS -- W...

Re: Petrol / Help / VCDS
Morning. I bought the sensor through E-Bay as a Genuine OEM. It was listed for a golf R32 but the same part number as ours. It looked legit as it had the audi rings engraved on the brass collar and the part number the same as the one removed, No picture showing the rings and part No. Was in a VW bag...

Re: Petrol / Help / VCDS
A massive massive thanks to you guys who have helped me over the past 2 to 3 weeks. :notworthy: Turned the car over tonight after the completion of the work in my other posts re fans and then a rough idle and support from you on Vagcom. Car fired up and ran smoothly, battery CTEK MXS5.0 remained at ...

Re: Petrol / Help / VCDS
What is the difference with this compared to what i have done?
Do i select this from the control module option and do i need to be really careful when in there.
Will do as you say and start the car later.
I really appreciate the support with this... Absolutely crapping my self.

Re: Petrol / Help / VCDS
Clearly i am no expert
and yet to start the car. But I wondered if with the fault logged and not cleared did this keep the fans running as some safety feature?
