Hi all,
Also had the EPC light come on last night, after not having driven the car for a couple of weeks. Car was running fine and the light went off after a couple of miles. Could it be due to low battery after not moving for so long?

Re: RNS-E AMI Upgrade
Hi all,
Quick question, what is the difference between an AMI unit and a AMI 2G one? I have upgraded to a 2010+ RNSE unit so which one should i get?
Thanks,
Damien

Re: Milltek Exhaust
Yeah would totally advise on resonated, but it all comes down to individual taste in the end. Same thing for the valves. Mine is just a weekend car, so i have them open most of the time, but it's nice to be able to "shut it up" a bit when you just want to cruise, or on longer journeys. Personally i'...

Milltek Exhaust
Hi all,
Changed the exhaust yesterday, i installed a Milltek resonated valved system. Really happy with the result, the car sounds as it should have all along, especially on start-ups. It even pops and cracks sometimes!

WANTED - RS4 B7 AMI Unit
Hi all,
I'm looking for an AMI unit for my B7 RS4, with all necessary auxiliaries if possible (cables etc.). I already have the updated RNSE unit installed.
Thanks,
Damien

Re: RNS-E AMI Upgrade
Thanks for the tip. I actually use Apple music hopefully it will work properly. Another question, does this support also phone calls or it's only for music.

Re: RNS-E AMI Upgrade
Hi!
Bringing this up again, as i'm the same position as Charlie above. I have upgraded to a 2010+ RNS-E and now looking to also fit the AMI. Could anyone suggest a link to a good unit, as there are a few on eBay but i'm not sure which one to get.
Thanks,
Damien

New Exhaust
Hi all, I’m also looking to update my exhaust, and so far I’m leaning towards a Milltek Resonated system with valves. I briefly considered deleting the center res on the standard exhaust, as cost wise it makes much more sense, but I rejected it due to the cutting and welding necessary. I know it’s n...

Sport Mode
I was reading another topic when this came to mind. How much difference does Sport mode makes on your cars? Just want to make sure that everything is ok with mine, as when engaged, it only slightly increases engine sound, and makes no noticeable different on throttle response. Could this be a proble...

Re: Exhaust flap issue
These are for different exhaust sound when in sport mode correct? If so, i checked mine after reading this post, and they were both open. Should they be closed normally when the engine is off? As i always shut the car off with Sport mode ON, could it be that they stay open, and close normally when t...
