Cambelt Advice
Hi All, I’m thinking of doing my cam belt soon and just want to know if anyone has used the Gates or GSF kits which come with everything including water pump. There is a huge saving over genuine and Iv used both on other cars with no issues. I would just need to buy cam bolts from the dealer. Thanks...

Re: E10 fuel?
Generally Ethanol isn't as bad for elastomers as Methanol is. So if there are people out there running a methanol mix in the tank (or most race fuels have methanol) then chances are it should be ok. Haven't seen much about people running methanol mixes or race fuels on here but I'm sure there are s...

Re: Anyone had this before?
Mine does it too I just polish the stain off now and then. I assumed it was the steel clip which holds the trim on to the lip corroding, but I didn’t fancy removing the trim as it’s been the same since I bought it and got no worse. I can see the trim or clips breaking and not going back on properly.

I bought mine from GSF only cost about £60 and came in a TRW box so I assume was genuine.

Re: EML issues, Odd running issues, codes in thread
Might be worth checking the wiring to the MAFs, when mine had a broken wire it threw rich and lean codes for both banks, the wires are easily damaged removing the air box. TPS sell the plugs and wires as a repair kit, fixed mine last year.

Re: Cold starting problem
There may be more than one temp sensor. Also engine speed sensor is crank sensor and can cause similar starting issues particularly on warm engine.

Re: KWE Intercoolers
They look great, I'm definitely going the Airtec route rather than Wagners, makes more sense on a standard car. Do any of you Wagner guys fancy selling me your old standard intercoolers at a reasonable price so I can get them recored and then fit in a couple of hours. This would save me having the c...

Re: KWE Intercoolers
I'm sure the Wagners are great, but I'm not chasing big power the car is standard and although I may visit MRC for a remap at some point, I won't be after big power. The Airtec refurb sounds OK for £600 but how long does it take, their website says allow two weeks, sounds a long time to have my car ...

Re: KWE Intercoolers
Shame as we have a group buy on for the Wagners at the moment. I did consider the KWEs too but after a quick google search come across someone from the states who had fitted them to a saloon and apparently the fitment was shocking requiring heavy modification to both car and coolers to fit. He did ...

KWE Intercoolers
Just wondering if anyone has used KWE intercoolers or heard good feedback about them on a C5. I can't hear any leaks on mine but was going to remove them and JB weld them to make sure they are OK. I read a recent thread about recores but the KWEs seem similar money. Can't justify Wagner expense for ...

Re: Menu Button RS6 C5 Wanted
Hi All,
I'm after a menu button/switch, the one near the handbrake, for my RS6 C5. If anyone has one they'd like to sell please let me know.
Thanks, Richard.
