Hi all yes the corvette z06 has the same one I believe - yes we recalibrated and so far it's behaved itself got a 4 hour drive in it today so we shall see if it continues to

Now RS4 expert I am not, however when the RS4 needed front brakes recently- I did a lot of research. Through working in one of the large franchises husbands quote for front brakes - cost +10% £600ish for front discs and £300 for front pads. With the rears costed in as well it came to a healthy £2500...

VAG comm Fault code reader I believe audi's price is circa £1200 - we have had the code come up a couple of times but hoped with a clean that might clear it however this morning the car went into limp mode whilst OH was driving so he bypassed the friend with VAG Comm again and it came up 4 codes rel...

So turns out our issue wasn't the switches or the MAF sensor - it's the throttle body position sensor- woo hoo that will be nice and cheap [emoji51]

We have the same problem - changed the switched no change changed the MAF sensor its fixed other things but not that

I believe they just twist out and were apparently quite easy to change just best not to be too heavy handed[emoji1303]

So we changed both switches with no difference and then tried running the car with the MAF disconnected - it ran much better and much smoother with it disconnected- so I think we may have gone some way to proving our culprit
