Re: Car targeted post service and stolen from home
If you have french doors at home get a patlock, pretty much impossible to use the handles on a door from the other side then. If I was in your position, I'd just take the settlement and sort it out quickly. Do you have GAP? They more than likely have removed the sim out the car aswell, though the p...

Re: Car targeted post service and stolen from home
Sorry to hear this happen to you, I had mine stolen in October and thankfully/unthankfully (depending on how you judge it) the car was found a few hours later parked up with damage done to the interior looking for a tracker but otherwise ok. Thanks for sharing. I know what you mean about thankfully...

Re: Car targeted post service and stolen from home
Sorry to hear this, sounds very similar to what happened to me in 2019 so I know how you feel. Sadly at a level there is very little you can do, there are some very serious gangs out there who will do whatever is necessary to take such a car. We had anti snap locks, police linked house alarm and an...

Re: Car targeted post service and stolen from home
Sorry to hear, can't have anything these days. I suppose a ghost would have stopped this. But if they were that professional and wanted the car this would have just forced them back inside to get the code from you via other means. If it were common knowledge that all RS6 had pin codes as standard t...

Car targeted post service and stolen from home
Sadly after finally get the car sorted and falling back in love with it again, early morning on new years eve we were targeted by a professional gang that managed to get in the house while we were awake upstairs, find the faraday pouch in which the key was hidden and drive off in the car from under ...

Re: Front Camber
Appreciate you putting your experience down Mike. I knew something was wrong when you mentioned the RS4 handled better than the RS6! I've always found the RS6 to be a better steer than the 4 which was part of the reason why I moved out of the RS4. The handling was always very vague at the front end...

Re: Front Camber
Update to this thread. Ive been more and more disillusioned with the RS6 in the handling department - specifically turn in, and way too much understeer. You have to nurse it to an apex and then let the 4wd system pull you out, and even if you get it as good as you can it's underwhelming - all you fe...

Re: Milltek - Car sounds like a JOKE!
Still sounds lovely, aside the chirping.
Do you still have the valves in the exhaust or is it open 100% of the time?
If I did put another system on I;d want to keep the valves and have control over it for quiet cold starts.

Re: Warped discs and pads - advice required
So… the lesson here is dont jump to replace the discs straight away - get the hubs checked first and fix that before anything else. It is actually really unlikely that any disc actually warps, and if you can put up with judder when the discs are running true then it will eventually wear away. Hope ...

Front Camber
Hi All, Anyone had any experience from adjusting (adding) some additional front camber to their 6? Having come from Jap cars from my youth to an RS4 B8 (which I revered for handling) I do struggle with turn in and front end grip on the C7 RS6. Lately I have noticed the Michelins are wearing way too ...

RS6 Convertible anyone?
There are two RS6's around my neighbourhood. Mine and this poor chaps. He was ok, so I heard - some bruising where the seatbelt grabbed him, otherwise walked away. Looked like he ran out of road overtaking, went over a roundabout. These thing can pile on the numbers, have to be careful not to let ph...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
I'd like to point a finger at Audi's rubbish disks, should anyone else want to point that way. My RS4 warped at 4000 miles in, and my 6 warped at around the same. The warp I have now is ever so slight, but when it gets warmer, like the 4 it gets bigger. They are not enough to warrant replacing, but ...

Re: C8 RS6 finally revealed
I'm sure that time will endear us to the new one. Interesting when I read potentially 120kg heavier, that's seriously not good. The standard car is way too heavy anyway. Power is pointless if you are just offsetting it to weight. I took a loan new diesel C8 series when my car was in audi last time. ...
