Re: Wheel ET question

I have a set of original wheels sat in my garage still. Been there for a few years now.

Re: Refit DRC

I Have the KW and can tell you they are also pretty hard. I don't have anything to compare them against, but to me at least they are pretty harsh.

Re: C5 RS6 Avant Avus silver reg LY03 OAS

Don't be put off by high number of owners alone. Don't forget it's 20 odd years old now and most people buy as a dream and find out they cannot afford to run it and sell it on a year later. Most cars will have a high number of owners. Just make sure it has a good service history with the car. Unless...

Re: Car wax

Would a car polisher/buffer help ? Not to try and get swirls out and burn through paint, just to lightly remove the white crust ? I've had one for a couple of years now but am scared shitless about making a large burnt patch or something :-(

Re: Starting problem

I had a similar issue with mine which was a temperature sensor that was always reading as hot. So on a cold start up the car would not be given enough fuel for a cold start.

Will be interested in what he has to say. I tried contacting them and got nowhere. Granted I didn't call, but I left emails with their contact page with my interest and thought given their lack of response they didn't fancy the work anymore.

MRC for a custom map. Don't bother with an off the shelf map. The car deserves a custom map.

Re: 1000bhp claim?

I'm sure I saw a video somewhere with another high powered car that was also on standard intakes, they actually showed the car doing a pull on the Dyno, but there was an engine view which was interesting. The whole airbox was flexing like hell, like it wanted to turn itself inside out. I'm sure they...

Re: Fuel prices

Brimmed my C5 yesterday with Momentum, 71.52 litres cost me £143.68....so, the dreaded day has arrived for me, over £2 per litre  On the subject of Momentum, I've heard from a very good source that Tesco will no longer be supplying it from September this year. Bad news for those of us that ar...
