I appreciate this is an old thread.
Q - has anyone left the rear muffler and removed the silencer instead? Any feedback welcomed.

Re: Adaptive Xenons ??
I think the queries have all been covered. I’ll add...
- the cornering sweep of the lights occurs at any speed above +10kph
- if this module fails the errror on the dash states ‘adaptive light defective’ or at least very similar wording.

All noted and appreciated. I think I'll just buy via Audi locally.

Re: Adaptive Light Defective - error
Hi, after pulling the lights out and pulling them apart the wiring is in very poor condition, brittle and basically to far gone. I am reluctant to place them back in the car. I therefore wish to purchase two new headlights. From Audi here in Australia they are approx A$2,600 (approx 1,750 EUR) and c...

https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-s6-c6-platform-discussion-58/adaptive-lights-question-2005-audi-a6-2822961/ Described on the posts in that link is a potential fix for this. It seems that the wires inside the headlight cluster break, stopping the adaptive motor from functioning. From what I have...

Dropped it past the local Audi Service department here in Sydney Australia (yikes) A$3,700 for a replacement Motor/module...

Re: My New RS6 Project
Jules,
Congrats on the car. Looks great
You mentioned heating out creases in the leather. Would you mind elaborating on the process here please, I'd be keen to do the same?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Highest mileage rs6
Mine has now done 210,000kms in the harsh Australian elements.
Despite recently a front left strut and decided to do upper control arm as well....all going fine.
Mind you it is great condition & has had an easy life cruising the motorway.
Great to see one alive at +300

Re: iPhone Compatibility
I purchased one of these VMA3000A tune2air and whilst the car seems to recognise it is attached (the device flashes blue as per instructions, states initialising device. please wait) it then states on the MMI "Cannot read from connected device" Any thoughts, am I missing something here? Thanks in ad...
