Re: 600bhp...Mmmm
Come on guys, we all know a remap and filter Replacement generates an extra 200bhp. See DXB335D on pistonheads. Remapped 335d sees off everything short of a Sprinter van which is clearly the fastest thing on the M40

Re: 19k service, dealer quotes and rant.
The oil is 5W/30. Castrol edge.
Go to ECP and use voucher SALE30. Gets you a 4l bottle for 32.19 all in. Using my GCSE maths, that's a few pence over £8 a litre. Or 20 euros due to brexit.

Re: 19k service, dealer quotes and rant.
Just got my 19k service done at Oxford Audi. This was the scheduled service only and got charged £252 instead of the original £480 quoted as I supplied my own oil.
They wanted £19 plus VAT per litre. Got mine 3x4L bottles of the same Castrol for £96 quid from ECP.

Re: Exhausts!! It's time!! Which One :-)
Just out of interest, are the caps, akras, and JCs of this world resonated or not?
Silly question for some but as the B8 is becoming affordable I'm sure many new owners would want to know the differences.
BTW I've got a DB monitor for our purported meet.

Just need a milly to join the gang.
Which milly do we need to make comparisons to the cap/akra/JCWF? Res or Non-Res?

Re: Exhausts!! It's time!! Which One :-)
It would be good for a group of cars to get together for a comparison.
We would need one each of:
Milly
Akra
JCWF
Capristo
Standard sports
I've got the latter. Based in bucks but willing to travel a little
Any takers?

Re: Tyres again.
Apologies.
So to clarify my point:
Road spec Nankangs are rubbish. The black RS4 owner needs his dangly bits removed.

Re: Tyres again.
They bog standard Nankangs AS2s which also come in the RS4 size.
The ones you are referring to, am I not wrong in assuming they are track tyres?

Re: Tyres again.
White RS4's are the fastest, heard the same in a hungry horse pub.
You could make it even faster by replacing the beautiful original chrome mirror caps with ones painted in white. Oh I forgot you've already done that mod.

Re: Tyres again.
Don't go having a go at my driving, its perfect. Just ask the courts if you don't believe me. What price are you paying for the MPS's if don't mind me asking. PM if you want. BTW, everyone knows remapped diesel BMW's are the fastest cars in the world. Just ask carlos (DXB335) on the PH forum LOL

Re: Tyres again.
Each to their own, tried a set on a 120d. Replaced after a month.
Didn't want to stick around too long around the area just in case it span into me whilst attempting to corner.

Re: Tyres again.
MPS all the way. Had them on my old A7. Can't wait until the P-Zeros wear out.
Spotted a black one in Bicester, the car was gleaming, freshly polished. Upon further drooling spotted it had Nankang tyres!!!!! Just wrong

Re: Exhausts!! It's time!! Which One :-)
Hello all, treated myself to a MY15 RS4. So I thought more air to the engine is a good thing. MRC filters first and then a hunt for a exhaust system. After reading the substantial content on this page and talking to a fellow owner, decided to go with a capristo. Just about to plonk a deposit down an...
