RS4 for sale ..... sob.

Hi to all. The time has come when my beloved wee beastie has to go. I need the money - couple of bad debts left me short, why is the world full of people like that ? Their day always comes .... However, after 3 years of pure driving pleasure I must sell my RS4. Details as below. Reg: Y498 WUA (June ...

I must agree that one is enough to allow following cars to see your brake lights more easily. Although if anyone is close behind you should actually turn them off - if you can see them they can see you ? To my mind rear foglights are very badly used in this country. Slightest bit of haze and they al...

First audi I've had too - thats buggered me for upgrading to another Audi then ! New one looked good the other night on Top Gear, apart from the additional knob in the driv...

warranty

I have had my wee beastie for 2 1/2 yrs now and have renewed the warranty with Audi for the last 2 yrs. 3-4 yrs cost about £ 700 and the last one for yrs 4-5 cost £ 1100. Expensive I know but I have had reason to use it ... twice !! Last time the turbos blew and the whole job was done with no questi...

4 or 6 ...

The 2 cars seem very different to me. havent driven the RS6 yet, but not all that keen on it when compared to the RS4;- 1 Much bigger (cant imagine its as good through twisty roads ?) 2 Not as much style 3 Not as unique - unlimited supply ? (although at 60K I guess a bit limited !) 4 Main reason - n...

Insurance

Thanks for all the replies - some odd prices being mentioned ! - £305 ?? Was that fully comp ? Cant imagine having anything less on RS4. Direct line did it in the end for £700. Seems OK to me for the car it is. Mind you, trying to insure my 12 yr old beat up transit van (only used for moving trials ...

wheels / tyres

Good timing on this subjetc for me too - just about to get my wheels refurbed. Live in Northants so Milton Keynes is fairly local. Anyone know anywhere else nearby ? I have wondered about getting them done in a different colour too - maybe charcoal / gunmetal grey .... Anyone had them done like that...

I assume you're not in the UK and that "twisty road" was an obscure autobahn or something similar, where such speeds are allowed...?![/quote]

off course ......

and isnt the new M5 4 wheel drive ? .... and V10 ?

coo- very impressive - but the RS4 still does it with more style ! Is the M6 AWD ? - and I bet they cost a tad more than an RS4 .... Just had a run with a M3 today - you know how sometimes it just happens - good twisty road (no faster than 130mph) I know well, think he did too. Result was he couldnt...

RS4 at work ....

An amusing pic of my beastie methinks. It was particularly enjoyable blowing away a subaru around the outside of a roundabout like this. Childish I know, but ......

Bit noisy at speed and got to take bends a tad slower - worried about racks detaching themselves !

I am sure the RS4 does many things better than a Supra. I had a bath in the back of mine once :D I don't thing you can fit 15 sacks of sand and a wheel barrow in a supra like I did at B&Q the other week. Mate of mine most impressed a few months ago when we blew away a 911 while we had the sea...

Bought mine 2.5 yrs ago with 20K on the clock. Done about another 55K in it with only a few problems, although more main failiure than unreliable. Camchain and tensioner needed replacing - under warranty. A week later the turbos blew - coincidental ? errmm. However all replaced under warranty (phew!...

That expensive time of year again ---- insurance ! Had the car for nearly 3 years now - and still LOVING it ! Nothing even comes close for anywhere near the same cost. I have always riddne fast bikes too and love being in a car that can challenge ANY sports bike down a twisty road.... Dont want to c...
