Re: JC Weldfab Exhaust Systems and options
They can do a non-valved option however haven't to date so the sound would be hit and miss although I can't see it being much different from a valves open valved system, and the manufacturing time is 3-5 days as they are hand made but they can manufacture in advance and then fit on the day I believ...

Re: B7 RS4 US spec number plate plinth
I'm tempted to buy a non PDC smooth plinth and drill my own holes, should be easy enough to get them in line with the sensors?

Re: JC Weldfab Exhaust Systems and options
Is there a non valved option do you know?
3-5 days is longer than I thought also. Accommodation costs plus hire car to get out and do touristy things would soon add up!

Re: JC Weldfab Exhaust Systems and options
I'm currently looking into exhaust options for my car and would be interested in prices.
I'm hoping to travel over to MRC at some point for stage 2 map and a couple of other things, so would be handy if I could get the exhaust done the day before and only have to make one trip across the water.

Re: MRC and carbon cleans
Mine had a carbon clean not long ago, so going to MRC for stage 2 remap and a few other jobs. Will get them to check if the clean was a good job or not while I'm there though.

Re: MRC and carbon cleans
Cracking write up and info, cheers edge.
Will be Holyhead for myself and evo triangle in the way back!
I'm not going to have time the next time I'm home, but will aim for my next 4 weeks off which is in July.
Can't wait to get it all done!

That Deep Green Pearl is stunning, really suits the car!
Haven't posted any of mine up yet, but here's a couple. It was a forum car two owners ago, but on a different reg.

Re: MRC and carbon cleans
An en mass trip had crossed my mind, but I'd guess they can only do so many cars in one day, meaning a lot of hanging around.
I'll definitely get across soon though, just need to sort an exhaust out first.

Re: New owner at last
Good to see a fellow Co Down owner on here
Also weirdly I took pics of my sprint blue avant in exactly that same spot about a week after you! We'd just been to Daft Eddies and I thought it was a good place to stop.

Re: Gear Selection - Advice/Help needed
Pistolpete it certainly was the one with black optics. Thought the price wasn't too bad considering it was a hollybrook car, plus it was the spec and miles I was after so just went for it. Was after a noble or gtr, but work in oil and at the minute with prices the way they are I just played it safe....

Re: Gear Selection - Advice/Help needed
First post I know, but just noticed a few NI boys on here and it's good to see somewhere local being recommended to work on these! From dromara direction myself. Just bought a sprint blue avant from Hollybrook last week there so will get round to sticking up some photos soon. Would be good to meet u...
