Hi
My jacking pad has come out of its hole and doesn’t seem to clip back into place. There are plastic clips in the middle of the block, but nothing in the hole to receive them.
Has anyone got a picture of the assembly so I can work out what’s missing please?
Thanks!

Re: Warped discs and pads - advice required
Just a quick update after the following: New brake hoses (£60 @ Audi) Calliper rebuild x2 (£250 @ Bigg Red / 3 day turnaround) New Hubs & Bearings (£340 @ Jayar) Labour £340 @ VAS Works in Poole The aggressive judder has definitely gone. There’s still a slight vibration which I’m assuming is the pre...

Re: Warped discs and pads - advice required
Thanks to this thread, I am trying new hubs, brake hoses and also get the callipers stripped and reconditioned. I’ve had two sets of discs and pads now and the vibration comes back after around 6,000 miles. Local garage has spotted one of the pistons is sticking so it’s an ideal opportunity to strip...

Re: Suspension Faults (VCDS)
Do you know whether a Replacement sensor will need coding in and the ACC systems etc recalibrated, as my local garage won’t be able to do that

Re: Suspension Faults (VCDS)
Interesting!! Thank you. It’s off to the garage today so I’ll report back. It’s never had any suspension work done from new, other than the CETE. Curious.

Re: Suspension Faults (VCDS)
The car suspension is stock - I haven't fitted lowering links and have had the car from new. The links are the ride height sensor connecting rods.

Re: Suspension Faults (VCDS)
It turns out that the link arm has separated. I am not certain whether the green plastic has snapped or not. Any idea from the pics? It feels rough inside, but I think it just snaps on. I need to get the wheel off to try, but before I do, I thought I'd get opinion here as whether the parts look norm...

Re: Suspension Faults (VCDS)
Thanks for the tip. I didn't realise that there was a physical linkage - I'll check that first, as that's most likely popped off from the harsh weather and water I was going through.
I'll report back with findings in case it helps others.
Cheers.

Suspension Faults (VCDS)
Hi, Over the last few days, I have had a series of warnings which started with a yellow Air Suspension Fault and various related things, like the ACC and Brake Guard disabled. I had just completed a rather wet long distance drive and put it down to water in the electrics somewhere. The next day, the...

Re: Ghost immobiliser vs Scorpion x series
Scorpion has a useful service mode to disable the security until you decide to re-enable it. I’m not sure that the Ghost has the same, but may be wrong,

Just down a Dorset to Calais via the Chunnel run. Steady (ahem) 70mph and returned 28.9mpg.
