I have standard ones which are working perfectly fine for sale.
Ive since replaced them with Wagners in preparation for my 9xx build.
I can sell them both for considerably less than Audi want for one.
Pm if interested, I am based in the East Midlands

Re: Turbos - options.
It’s all coming together, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. The car is currently with Peron having some custom 3.5” downpipes made. A small production run of around 5 sets will follow and be for sale as mine will be used for development. A great opportunity for those who want to go hybrid t...

Re: An Interesting Development
I have never used BP stuff. If I was to it'd only be to get me to one of the closest above.
Probably overkill!

Re: An Interesting Development
Thats great news, these can be sensitive to fuel quality, so for maximum safety use Vpower or Tesco 99. Alternatively get MRC to add switchable maps for slightly poorer fuel quality or just add octane booster.

Re: Turbos - options.
Anyway, when it went back to MRC for a map tweak I never got a dyno sheet, they where more busy with invoicing the cost of an oil leak on their dyno. Only thing I got out of them was «it’s fine», after that silent treatment. Yeah sadly that sounds about right for MRC over the past few years. I mean...

Re: Turbos - options.
I have WMI, but it has not been adapted yet. Have Marston IC cores. RSE custom intake and filter. Have all the known boltons available in the market. Do not know how much boost. My instructions was to make a conservative tune, not to keen on engine out again (been out three times last two years). A...

Re: What oil spec is supposed to be used?
Fuchs titan pro race is a great oil. Unfortunately its marketed as an 'Ester' oil by a well known sponsor, but in fact is not. The 'S' series which has 5w/30-40 suitable for our cars is a regular synthetic like most others. The 'R' series is ester based but unsuitable grades. https://www.fuchs.com/u...

Re: advice buying a rs6 avant in the states
Check for oil leaks. Check coolant pipes condition- if LHD could be nearside RHD are offside. To rectify it can be labour intensive. Both can be remedied with engine in but id take it out and you can do a list of things and have 5+ years of hassle free motoring. Top arms usually are worn out as most...

Re: New intercooler offering on its way
My car is currently at RE Performance getting these fitted. I will need to get a map tweak to take full advantage but will sure be interesting to see how they perform. I’m also getting some 3.5” decat pipes fabricated. (Current primary cats in place) Spec of car currently is TTH 950 REP Gearbox Aqua...

Re: Turbos - options.
Funny how people can run a stage 2 tune up to 1100Nm with a stock gearbox without a problem. But when they go to stage 3 and 1200Nm and an upgraded gearbox they seem to break? Nick This is what i'm trying to get my head around. I'm planning for a stage 2.5 type of set up, ie...bigger turbo'...

Re: Oil debate
Thread revival* My Stage 2 has been using 5/40 Quantum, supplied and fitted by unit 20. Noticed nothing in terms of freedom of revving (Coming from 5/30) however the engine does run slightly smoother (Probably placebo). Also it has not used a drop, but did top up twice when running the 30 grade stuf...

Price reduced £25k ONO- No rush to sell but is this too rich? The propshaft bearing has recently failed- I have replaced the compete item and the car is back to 100%. Car is barely moved as I have had a replacement for sometime, and will be SORN and stored in my garage until sold. hi Bhav, do you m...
