Any chance this fits the standard exhaust once the original centres and cut out? Cheers

14 hours? That must include dropping the subframe etc. Seems like alot of hassle if you were go do that because you then have to support the engine from the top with a brace and remove engine mounts etc underneath to allow the frame to drop, then trying to line it all back up.

Took about 7 hours including breaks,haha. Wasn't too bad a job as my cats had been off not long ago but 2 studs still snapped that I didn't change last time, so had to sort them. Not sure if folk normall remove the subframe but managed to work around it and leave it in place.

All done. Safe to say it was truely worn

Not at the moment, there was no knocking or vibrations from it so will check radial and rotational movement once I've stripped it and take it from there. I'm a mechanic anyways so it's not like I'll be paying twice to get it done, will just be my own time I'll lose out on. Intrigued to find out what...

Is there a separate clutch fork off the slave onto the release bearing on these setups?

That's super cheap for the dmf. Is it a long turn around to get it? What about other parts? Thought you'd get a clutch kit from tps but it's seperates. Clutch and pressure plate are 125ish each and slave 73ish retail. Any help for sourcing parts would be ideal. Cheers

Just short of £1500 for all parts from tps but that's not with trade discount, so should be a bit less.

I'm getting it all priced up for the bits now. Another thing when the clutch pedal is pressed slightly you feel quite a vibration coming through the pedal.

Clutch is fine on it though, Unless it's the pressure plate has failed. Don't think it's the slave as there is no fluid at the bottom and the pedal still has resistance just not enough to engage a gear.
