FOR SALE: 99/T B5 S4 saloon 88.5K miles FSH
Hi everyone, its with a heavy heart I put my S4 saloon up for sale after 5 very happy years of ownership. I used to be an active poster on RS246 (and S2forum) "back in the day", but when I moved to the Highlands, the internet connection we had was just too slow (they have a slightly warped idea of b...

S/RS Audi Specialist servicing in Highlands
Hi guys, I've been up in Inverness (having moved up from Cardiff) for about a year now, and my B5 S4 is due a service. I always used to go to MRC.... but that's not much of an option now :( . Therefore, I was just wondering if anyone on here could recommend a good place to get the service done, othe...

B7 Misano RS4 on M6(S) RS** R**
Saw you a couple of times (guess you had a fuel stop
) on the M6 southbound. I liked the reg plate - very appropriate

Two B7 RS4s in Forest of Dean/Monmouth 17/2/07
made my day!! Spanking phantom black B7 RS4 saloon driven by antipodean, close to Parkend - you stopped to chat to me and my mate on our MTBs for a couple of minutes after i flagged you down because of your great car  !! And then, bottom of the hill out of the forest of dean back into monmouth,...

RE: R-Tronic vs Manual
from this month's Top Gear mag article, it looks like the R-tronic is great on track but really jerky and annoying around town/when you aren't full on it. which seems a little odd since in the next breath they say its a manual automatic.....

RE: E- brochure and price list
Hi Bob,
from the first review of the car in this month's Top Gear magazine, it would appear that the buckets are an option..... so youshould be able to avoid them
hope all's well!

RE: rs2 and LPG
i've not come across it on an RS2..... sounds like car murder to me ;) ...... but there's a few RS6s and B5 RS4s that have had it done IIRC. so maybe it is possible...... but as alastair says, it is rather missing the whole point of an RS2..... plus, maintaining these cars is generally not exactly t...

RE: Black Grill
I agree - i don't think you can expect a high performance car (with a very few critical exceptions, like M1s) to be anything other than a money drain. at the same time, i've actually been slightly surprised by how WELL B7s are holding value, and also how well B5s have held on in the last 6 months de...

hmmn. jason plato didn't seem to mind the new S6 too much when he took it flying down an autobahn a few months ago. I think clarkson may have got confused about the roles of an S versus an RS. Again. There's one in the cardiff audi dealership at the moment, and i don't think it looks too bad. nicely...
