Re: C8 RS6 - what do you think it will do to C7 prices?
Limited supply initially of the C8 RS6 will also bolster Residuals - it's not like ordering a Ford Fiesta once launched. Either way, we should all enjoy the car and stop worrying about depreciation - everything depreciates over time. If we bought with our heads and not our hearts, there wouldn't be...

Re: Is it normal to get clonking from steering when manoeuvring?
Not heard this yet, but I'll keep an 'eye' out for it. Interestingly, I was talking to a friend who has a E63S 4-matic thing and there is a known issue with driveshafts knocking on lock! Mercedes put it down to a characteristic of the car. Appalling if you ask me! Yes have an E63 4matic+ and it doe...

Re: Braking Problem In The Wet
it felt like a software issue to me - the computer was applying full braking for a split second rather than a physical defect.

Re: Braking Problem In The Wet
“To stop the feeling of having a long pedal when you are really working the brakes we fitted a booster which brings the pedal back up when it’s getting long – sometimes it can come back right to the top of the pedal travel.” but that's not true - this happened to me on a normal slow commute in - I g...

Re: Stolen C7 RS7
Terrible to hear.
When I sold my RS6 part of me was a little relieved that I would not have to keep such a vigil any longer.

agree with the above - avoid any mapped cars. They are fast enough as standard tbh.

Re: Can an RS6 with DRC tow?
as mentioned with the E63 AMG - it did not have type approval to tow thus would fubar the insurance and car warranty. I would be cautious to ask first if the RS6 with DRC is type approved - as would be a bad thing to crash and have issues later with insurance etc or warranty issues. check first then...

Re: Can an RS6 with DRC tow?
I towed with my RS6 but had the factory spec tow bar and air suspension. Also had an E63 AMG which was not type approved to tow despite the general E class being able to. Merc would not install a tow bar hence why I went for a new RS6. It was a lovely car to tow with - moto - if you get overtaken by...

Re: car buying advice
but which car do you want? Both cars are great. You will have fun in both - its a good dilemma to have :) 4-5 yrs is quite long with a car so the fun factor will have to be high. Im lucky that ive had both and would not be disappointed with either again and im sure you will be happy with either as w...

Had an E63 AMG which was a lovely car. The RS6 was by far faster and better handling.

I just sold mine -its on with Churches performance cars in sussex. They have it on at £60k I sold it to them for £54k. 1 yr warranty left. excellent car no issues.
Im sure they would give a bit on the price but clearly they wont do 10%
100% recommend the car .
