My Carbon Black has a towbar. See attached photos taken in May when I picked it up.Personally, I think it’s better disguised than on my C7 which you can see opposite in the second photo ( not the rear, obviously). Carbon Black pack, air suspension...wanted the badges taken off and clear glass for the total stealth option, but actually it’s really growing on me as it comes.

No ceramics. Discs at the front are still bigger than the wheels on all my cars pre 2000....

Yes Lem, same as the last one. I was a big doubting Thomas on the carbon fibre accents/elements, but it does look pretty sharp in the flesh. Wheels look better in the alloy too - just as well as I don’t fancy splashing out on a set of forged Vossens in the current environment.

Collected this morning. Dealers starting to operate a ‘click and collect’ service. There will be a very good value September 15 C7 available in the Audi network..

If we have clarity on importing a car post-election, I think I will order another direct from Germany and cancel my UK order. Probably arrive before my 8 April due date too... But it’s tempting to give up and go Alpina ...

It’s an increase. My dealer solution is for me to order, via the spares department, a set of clear glass which will cost c. £2,500 fitted and, if I want them, a set of 21” wheels (? £5-6,000?? They don’t have spares pricing yet) on top of the price of the car which they will fit for me pre-delivery....

Clear glass update - based on current C7 spares pricing, my helpful dealer tells me to replace the privacy glass with clear glass pre-delivery would be £1,370 plus c. £750 fitting...I wonder if C8 pricing will be cheaper? They haven’t offered to store the privacy glass for me in case a subsequent pu...
