Good news !!! Got the codes read and garage phoned the RAC, who I have a warranty with. Their gonna pay for all the work. Massive relief !!! Over a grand. Phew. Thanks for all the help. OK.....so good news and bad news....took it to a local garage ( audi specialist ) to get Vagcom read ( which he did for free !!! Nice ). Error code says the problem is the f125 range sensor??. He did describe what is involved in replacing this and quoted me about 750 to 1000 pound to repair !!!!! Ne...
