Re: Key sync for central locking

Anyone any thoughts on what I need to do to convert 315mhz to 868mhz? Is it just the antenna (wherever that is) or the comfort unit or the door control units?

A new key is going to be costly if I get the wrong version.

Re: Key sync for central locking

Ok. So the car isn’t seeing the signal from the remote, even with the new battery (2nd new battery). So recommended a new key. But just found out that being a Japanese import the remote locking frequency is 315mhz. Whilst the uk is meant to be 433 mhz I understand from searching online that the rs6 ...

Re: Japan import speedo conversion

Just a shame that they didn’t follow Audi’s font / colour scheme. Maybe a copyright issue.

Key sync for central locking

I can’t believe I am even asking - but having failed to get any of the online key sync procedures to work… After a recent battery replacement I have been unable to get the remote lock / unlock to work on the key fob (I only have one key fob) I could always do it first time on my old b7 rs4 Ca...

Re: Japan import speedo conversion

Had another look and yes it does look like it works with the sweep of the original dial.

Will double check with Lockwood first to make sure it has the outer cruise control transparencies.

Many thanks

Re: Japan import speedo conversion

Many thanks. I had hoped that it was that simple however from photos I have seen of uk / Japan dials the Japan dials show 112kmh (70mph) at about 12:30 - the uk dials show it around 11:00 so there appears to be a calibration difference.

If only it was stick n play!

Japan import speedo conversion

Hi all, Considering buying a Japan import RS6 (c6) in the UK - am aware of the radio and Tv tuning compatibility issues along with the Speedo being in km/h. Has anyone had experience of having the speedo converted to mph? Or can recommend a company that does this work? Having looked through eBay the...

Pretty sure the A3 reversing camera can be fitted to the number plate light position. Think Kafutec do a kit - but its not cheap

Analogue TV update to digital

After trawling through this website and that website, companies offering the upgrade service I wanted to see if anyone could offer advice and/or opinion before I spend my cash! My 06 RS4 was factory fitted with the analogue tv tuner and rns-e so clearly just snow on the screen now. And with the lock...
