Best thing to do it to check auto trader for simlar spec cars. I don't mean the mods you have made - base spec that it came with from factory. That should give you a good indication of its value based on the market.

That sensor looks fine. Give them a good clean and see what happens.

I hate to break it too you but you prob could have got a better deal on the car (a bigger saving than on the free servicing) if you negotiated on paying for the car up front. If the car isn't in warranty, why take it back to a main dealer? Half the time they have some trainee mechanic who will work on it and do stuff wrong....

Save some money and find a good indi specialist who has good prices and known what they are doing.

Nothing is lifetime if it has moving parts and oil.
