Re: AUDI S4 AVANT
Best thing to do it to check auto trader for simlar spec cars. I don't mean the mods you have made - base spec that it came with from factory. That should give you a good indication of its value based on the market.

Re: Parking Sensors
That sensor looks fine. Give them a good clean and see what happens.

Re: B7 RS4 or B8 S4
B7 RS4 is only available in manual. B8 S4 is DSG or Manual. I drive a 2011 B8 S4 For 16k you will be looking for an early car. 2009 2010 model year with reasonable miles. Personally I would keep away from the early DSG cars. The manuals are more to tax as on 6 gears but much more tuneable due to not...

Re: DSG Failure
Are you sure it needs it? I had a similar issue and main AD quoted me 9k. Took it too an independent specialist and he diagnosed it as circuit board failure. A known issue which Audi sell a £380 repair kit for. All in a total repair bill of around £1200 (covered by my third party warranty) and car f...

Double check the small print to make sure it does not say the free services are only valid whilst there is a balanced owed on the car.

Re: B7 RS4 50k mile service cost from Audi - seems high?
Just as an example on what I said above: my previous s4 had a dsg error come up. Huddersfield Audi had no idea what the problem was and reccomended a new gearbox (£9k). Took it to a local Audi independent specialist who within 20 mins had diagnosed it was a circuit board fault which Audi sell a repa...

Re: Finance
That might be true with other manufacturers, and independents who like cash, but at Audi it's all finance finance finance. They make more money on the finance than they do margin on the car. This. Always better deals available with finance on audi due to manufacturer contributions. If you are a cas...

Re: Finance
I hate to break it too you but you prob could have got a better deal on the car (a bigger saving than on the free servicing) if you negotiated on paying for the car up front. Friend of mine got offer 2k towards deposit on car. They wouldn't budge on price. Managed to negotiate 5.5k discount on price...

Re: B7 RS4 50k mile service cost from Audi - seems high?
If the car isn't in warranty, why take it back to a main dealer? Half the time they have some trainee mechanic who will work on it and do stuff wrong....
Save some money and find a good indi specialist who has good prices and known what they are doing.

Yeah but for some reason it was only showing a white popup. Tried it again and working fine. Went to check out Central Detailing in Manchester near the Apollo theatre. Seems like a good place.FaisalJ wrote:Gtechniq have a searchable map of their accredited dealers on their website
