Re: B7 RS4 Avant for sale - Daytona grey - 73k miles

All,

Thanks very much for all the positive comments on my B7. The car has now been sold to Joe having paid a deposit today after a chat about the car.

Some minor work will now be carried out on the car to make sure it is tip top for the new owner collecting.

Cheers
Neil

Great ad, great car, great price.

You can tell it's been looked after, GLWS.

shouldn't hang around long at that price.
Thanks, it really has been cherished.

Glad that came across in the ad

Hello all, **SOLD - Deposit taken** I am going to be selling my cherished B7 RS4 Avant after over 5 years of ownership. Have my eyes on a series 2 lotus Exige and currently restoring my MK2 escort RS2000 so something has to give. I'm sure I'll come to regret it as the B7 is such an awesome all round...

North coast 500

Hello all and happy new year!

Anyone done the north coast 500?

If so how long did you take, places you stopped at/visited?

Fancy doing it but would be good to get some other peoples experiences of it before booking up

Cheers

Haha I'm starting to forget aswell. My garage has my mums M3 and the mother in law's furniture. My RS4 is outside at my parents and my MK2 RS2000 is in my dad's garage getting a YB cosworth installed along with his MK1 lotus twincam replica which is also being restored :? Family full of petrol heads!

Re: Car cover for RS4 Avant

It's my mother in law's sofas and beds etc doing them a favour whilst they are renovating their new house so can't chuck them out lol Can't get rid of my mums car as my 'real RS' :rocker: is on my dad's ramp whilst the new engine is first fitted! Dilema - cover or nothing for at least 2-3 more months

Re: Car cover for RS4 Avant

Lol the M3 is a hard top convertable which are bad for letting water in if stood in bad weather for long enough. Don't need to worry about attracting attention as my parents live rural. We have lots of garage space but they are all full! My other toy is taking up my mums normal winter space in my da...

[quote=NeilyRS post_id=892268 time=1533721673 user_id=37632] I've experienced the same thing recently and also changed the discs and pads. As suggested, turned out to be a dirty connector. Guess the pins in the caliper hadn't seized when you did it as it took me about 4...

Re: Brake pad fault

Thanks for the replies My dad is a mechanic and he said it's probably one of the terminals that is a bit dirty. Next time I'm back from work il get my wheels off again and get a look. Should have done it when I replaced the discs and pads! I was surprised however, how easy the discs and pads were to...
