Re: What Tyres?

Just to add to this thread. My S4 came with the OE Conti SportContact 5s in 255/35/19 when I bought it. I swapped the rear pair a while ago, for the same again, but the front pair were brand new in March so only recently have I needed to swap the fronts after about 10K. I've gone for the Good year ...

Re: S4 ex Mr Harris......

Can the S tronic box in the S4 comfortably handle these power upgrades?

Chris makes a point in stating that the last gearbox has not handled any more than standard power and it seems fine now.

Carbon inlays? No, gloss black. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw lol.[emoji106] Black Edition make a d...

From what I have read here it would appear that Good Year F1's are a popular choice. Michelins are good too.

Re: Stock horsepower

When a vehicle is approved for sale, the country of sales authority (for us in the UK, it’s the VCA) will witness various tests on the vehicle, for engines this will be a powercurve with it rigged to an engine dyno, with all production components fitted. Engine will be run in as per manufacturer’s ...

Re: Build quality!

Yes, I'm sure the manufacturers don't expect modern cars to last more than 20 years or so.

Just the way of the world. Keep hold of the old classics if you have them. I'm sure they will appreciate in value.[emoji106]
