Thanks for the comments on the wheels! Docurley - You're right that they do these wheels in a lower offset, but I was told I had to go to the ET45 to get the caliper clearance (slightly less concave than the lower offset versions). Wouldn't you know it, no sooner had they been fitted, my wife kerbe...

Just to add to this thread. My S4 came with the OE Conti SportContact 5s in 255/35/19 when I bought it. I swapped the rear pair a while ago, for the same again, but the front pair were brand new in March so only recently have I needed to swap the fronts after about 10K. I've gone for the Good year ...

Can the S tronic box in the S4 comfortably handle these power upgrades?

Strange that yours was all alloy. My B8.5 S4 has that red button as standard.
