Re: Complete loss of power on new RS6

Mikey, not a good experience all round. It brought back memories of my run in with the AA. They are beyond useless and doesn't seem as if they are any better.Back in 2018 in a C7 Perf, due to leave villa in S of France,4 up +a little one, fully laden, decide to do a walk around the car, screw in rear t...

Re: RS6 Rejection!

what a disaster Lee.What your post has done is make me think about mine RS6 Vorsprung just over 6 months old low miles with all that's going on. In Feb when we had the snow went outside thought the windows looked really clean-all 4 windows open +sunroof:result loads of snow inside, luckily temps were...

compressor housing

Hi, anyone know how to get the housing out,it's the plastic holder in the boot which holds the compressor and the puncture gunk cylinder, the compressor is held in place by a strap with a release buckle on it, which was nearly inaccessible, looks like I broke it and it fell down beside the plastic co...

Re: Apple Carplay

not the same forum, but I have a C8 Vorsprung and I have had constant hassle with Carplay. Since you have tried just about everything, here are 2 other suggestions. Have you downloaded the latest IOS since Saturday, I did it about 8 weeks ago and it knocked everything out, before that it worked perfect...

Re: Rattle dashboard

no rattles yet. However, what do you all think about the build quality of the C8 ? Tbh,I'm not that impressed. My MMI stopped working last Thursday, studied the manual when I got home and if you press the volume button just below the A/C screen and hold it for 10 seconds it restarts the MMI and it w...

Re: Letter from Privilege declining to offer Renewal!

I know it's too late now but I had the same problem with NFU,they couldn't find the new RS6,despite insuring my previous 2 C7s.
I told them to try inserting Vorsprung and it came up !!!! weird.
Is yours a Vorsprung ? interesting about Admiral.

fuel consumption

It's ironic that having got rid of the snap bang pops because of European legislation my fuel consumption is lousy compared with my C7 Perf, I struggle to get 25 mpg and I 'm not ragging it,---I've discovered predictive cruise control -- I regularly got 30mpg + with the C7. One little snippet,if you...

AppleMusic

Prompted by threads on the C7 forum, some are worried about a software update knocking out their ApplePlay. Bit of a trivial one but on my C8,all worked fine, downloaded IOS 14 to my phone and now a message comes up on screen "there was a problem connecting to AppleMusic " In fact press library ,they ...

Take time out on the techo,if you're not used to it,it's a re-education.

Re: It’s arrived

Well, got my Vorsprung yesterday,I know the rules about posting pics, such a faff but exactly the same as Jezzers, might get round to it when I've got a spare 3 hours !!!! Jesser spot on about the wheels, they are an off grey and go brilliantly with the Nardo, will not change them. RS i'm abso certain th...

Re: It’s arrived

Nice one Jezzer, I've got the same coming soon. Interesting what you say about the wheels, must admit seeing your pic I don't like them but then you say they grow on you,so going to wait and see what I think when I see them in the flesh. Now all you C8 owners, I'm going to show my age !!!! My present...

Re: Snowchains

Tadass right, went into all this about 7 years ago, chains just won't work, impossible to get on.Winters every time, they are fantastic,as for the Gendarmes been to the Alps multiple times in what here would be unbelievable conditions, the signs you see about chains etc are years old and as far as I am ...

Re: RS6 handling...

Hi Ed, defo torque steer. I put a series of posts on here in 2015,just got my C7 pulled out to overtake and nearly completely lost it,electronics took over. I think it was Mike Fish who said you have to treat it like a motorbike,in other words pull out first and then throttle it. Kept to his advice ...

Do I go for a C8

Welcome your comments, I have a C7 Performance, but time is coming to change. I have not test driven a C8,but have looked at one at the local dealer. There seems to be a lot of different opinions on the C8. Here are mine without of course driving it. Not that important but the C7 is without doubt a co...
