Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7

I've owned the car for nearly 5 years and never had this issue occur before. The condensation was extreme when I first picked the car up post recall work. It seems to have cleared up now thankfully...

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7

Quick update after I had mine done by Notts Audi... Notts Audi were superb. Had the PCV Valve, Check Valve and Control Valve replaced at the same with only a parts charge, no labour which was a pleasant surprise. They had the car for two weeks whilst they waited for parts and I had an A4 2.0 TDI whi...

Re: Living with an RS6?

Former B7 RS4 owner here with a few q’s for the RS6 crew. I’m currently tossing up getting into a C7, or keeping my Disco 4 and buying an M2/M3 Competition as well. I do the occasional camping / mountain biking / snow trips that require me to drive on less than ideal surfaces, though I don’t necess...

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7

They didn't provide a reason, just said they weren't doing it as part of the recall. I was surprised as Notts Audi are usually pretty good. Unfortunately with Sytner you have to go through their central booking system so don't get to speak to anyone who knows anything... Hi, I would drive down to S...

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7

Just asked Nottingham Audi to order the PCV valve for me so it can be changed when it goes in for the recall and they have advised that they don't do it.

Which dealerships in the midlands area are authorising the PCV valve change during the safety recall work?

Re: Possible issue with my car - High pressure fuel pump ??black smoke?

My 2p's worth is get it checked for piece of mind if nothing else. Doesn't sound right to me. Could be indicative of an issue but let them check it. Any oil usage to note?

Re: Gearbox issues C7.5 PE - Stage2

Has the gearbox software been updated to take the increase in torque from the engine map? Admittedly I don't have any experience of mapping these cars but it does sound as if the gearbox is not happy with the extra torque particularly when hitting it hard. Sounds like the torque limit needs to be ra...

Re: Front Camber

Very interesting. I had not considered pulling the subframe apart. Presumably it will take from one side and give to the other. What camber angles did you settle at in the end if I may ask? It's funny that your 4 was not right - mine was beautiful aside that dsg gearbox that was always looking the ...

Re: Front Camber

Appreciate you putting your experience down Mike. I knew something was wrong when you mentioned the RS4 handled better than the RS6! I've always found the RS6 to be a better steer than the 4 which was part of the reason why I moved out of the RS4. The handling was always very vague at the front end ...

Re: Discs - to replace or not to replace?

Looking good! I've just had 4 new PS4s for mine via Kwik-Fit. Car feels so much better just from the new rubber. Managed to bag 20% discount on Cyber Monday. I'm at 28K miles on the first set of discs and pads and am very close to needing to replace them. My discs look just like your old ones with a...

Re: New Owner - keyless entry question - exclusive interior

Assuming it was retrimmed then it must have cost many thousands to carry out and looks like it's been done to a high standard. It's OEM+ for sure. However, it certainly worth checking with dealership on their details of the car again. May well be that it's a clerical error and that it really was don...

Re: New Owner - keyless entry question - exclusive interior

Very nice looking motor btw! Love the colour of the paint. As Saudirick said it is very close to mystic blue. The interior looks 'quality' as well. Enjoy!

Also I wouldn't be following the rules if I didn't go - FON!
