S/H buying advice

This appears to be a forum not frequented by many owners, but maybe some will come out the woodwork. Looking for a bit of a weekend vehicle and I didn't want a Porsche, plus I always fancied owning an Audi 5 cylinder engine, classic engine and some great tuning options. So looking to buy a Mk2 in th...

Re: Performance vs. Standard RS6 Actual Differences?

Not keyless entry, it was still an option. I didn't spec it. Interesting as I am 100% certain I didn't order it either but mine came with it. (delivered Nov '17) When I first sat in it I tried to find the slot left of the wheel but wasn't there. Are you confusing it with keyless start? All C7s incl...

Sounds like your wheels need balancing. Not unheard of to have buckled wheels on these.
Thanks Mike, does that actually need the main dealer? Could I take it to my local independent (reputable) tyre company for that?

Vibration through steering wheel and pedals??

I have a 3 month old RS6 PE, just over 4600 miles and when I go above 60mph I feel considerable vibration through the steering wheel door handle and the side of the pedals. It goes away below 60 or if its there it's very slight and almost unnoticeable. At first I thought it was puncture as it felt a...

From port to door

Have a RS6 PE on order and I've been patiently waiting and not pestering the dealer. I was told when I ordered it would be end of October/early November delivery. My excitement got the better of me :boots: and I called them and the rep told me that it arrived into port yesterday. I know it's a piece...

Re: Has the RS6 order book closed?

I was in my local Audi dealer on Sunday for the wife's new car and I asked this question to the sales manager. (have a RS6 PE on order already) He was under the impression that the order book was open till the end of the year, maybe into Q1 of 2018, however I am sure there is others on here more qui...

Re: New RS6 PE Spec and other Questions

I'm sure this debate will roll on and on but I would of been happy with either if we only had the choice of one. This car is really for me is about immense power in a practical package, and the its usability in all weathers. it's handling right at the limit for me is less important than the comfort...

Re: New RS6 PE Spec and other Questions

Bit of an update. I've have two short (ish) demos, one Air and one DRC and both standard RS6 not PE's. I can see both sides of the debate. IMHO I think if your really on it during a track day or a narrower road then you would want the DRC, I don't intent to track day it and to really feel DRC's bene...

Re: New RS6 PE Spec and other Questions

Back to Keyless Entry, mentioned earlier. I would think long and hard about that having read a while back of its implication as a security weakness in other threads in this forum. I had keyless entry on my M135i and it is nice but at the same time I actually prefer to place the key in a slot. I fin...

Re: Bad day

The hype about Golf R's is just ridiculous and to a certain extent the BMW M135 (both those groups are mortal enemies it's ridiculous the hatred expressed between them on forums) suffers from the same-it falls into the availability range of idiots. Almost every Golf R I've seen (and most Golfs/Pass...

Re: New RS6 PE Spec and other Questions

Im asking for a demo on both but I'm leaning onto the air, unless a DRC test drive was leagues better.

Im not going to do track days and where it would go the ability to raise it would be ideal.
