£230 is very good!

I did it in the end for £389 (front brake pads only). They also cleaned and delivered the car to my home 15miles away. Done 30kmiles with same discs.

Just completed the oil service today in Ipswich. £299.40 in total. This cost included 9.7 litres of new shell oil, filter, washer, antifreeze, full inspection & test drive of car after new oil to make sure all is well. Car cleaned inside and out. It took them about 2 hours.

Even with 10 litres, filters, disposal, an hour labour? - over £300 is pretty high. Oil prices have come down. Wondering if the rate is similar for all Audi cars? Ipswich responded with £308 for oil change without inspection. £360 with inspection.

Audi has agreed to fix it all under warrantee.
There are no audi mudflaps for S and RS4 models.

Could i use some sort of slim rubber seal? any ideas?

It is a b8. I assumed metal as it had rust colour for one arch.
Is there an option to have some sort of small hard wearing guards similar to the ones in the front?

it will be nice if next RS4 b9 can do under 4 secs. Rather than waiting, perhaps it is better to go for RS6.

It turned out to be the new tyres which were defective and had flat spots. Dealer tyres used to diagnose the problem also had flat spots. Unbelievable 3+ weeks of waiting and trying different changes. Got another set of new tyres (no cost to me) and everything is great now - car is smooth. Fantastic...

Fuel consumption is secondary when it comes to a super car. Enjoy.
This could be the last Natually Aspriated RS4 with a v8. I think (my gut feeling) the next model next year could potentially be a v6 3.6 Turbo in the Porsche range under VW.

Still waiting to hear from Audi.
