While the RS6 has been cancelled I still have an R8 on order and that's now at build week 51/52 at the moment, having moved lots of times, so I'm not holding out that it will actually get built as my understanding is the R8 cease...

Yes. Cancelled my order as no confirmed resolution on when it would be sorted

Wonder what else is missing from the UK spec.....mines sat at the factory still awaiting a 'part' for completion so maybe it will turn up with a few bits missing!

By the looks of it things are changing monthly / daily.

I've refreshed my quote with Admiral yesterday and while it was initially (couple of months ago) coming in around £400 more than my GT3 (total £1400) ....its now £170 less!

Update from my dealer....My car is being held at the factory as it waits for a part to complete but no timescales on this. Then it will be released into the transport system so then Ill be at the mercy of the ports and ferries. If its here by September ill be pleasantly surprised! At least it wasn't...

Yes I started a separate thread on insurance a few weeks ago

I got quote from a comparison site in the mid to high £3k band. Double that of my GT3!

Admiral on my multi car policy dropped it down to around £1500-£1800 ish but still much more expensive than my current cars on the same policy!

Been informed mine has gone to build...so hopefully the wait wont be too long, however I'm not expecting any time soon!

Just hit the big 50. Maybe it goes up after 50 :lol: Out of interest I've done a few more quotes just because I was curious. BMW M5 Competition was around £1400, G63 AMG was around £1800, Porsche 992 911 Turbo S (had one before my GT3) was around £1300, however I ran one for a R8 V10 Performance and...
