Re: Conti Sportcontact 7 or PS4’s?
For tyres, continental sportcontact 7 are by far the best I've had. Only issues are they come in 265/40/21, 7mm tread new and wear down pretty quick. Stick to the road like glue though. That is on my S8 which pushes 675bhp and 1000Nm torque. Just as shame I found the wear rate was pretty bad. Got 75...

Re: Milltek - Car sounds like a JOKE!
I have the non res on my S8 and it sounds really good in my opinion. There is slight tractor sounds that gets emanated on idle and light acceleration but apart from that when in Comfort or Efficiency mode sounds slightly louder than stock whilst cruising and much better than stock on WOT. The valves...

Re: Audi A4/S4 B8 Alcantara Interior Front and Back
Yeah,
Someone got a great deal. But, I really needed to get rid of them as I have no storage room and have got another set of the magma red/black leather ones that went in.
Cheers

Re: Audi A4/S4 B8 Alcantara Interior Front and Back
Need these gone asap as I do not have any storage room and changing them on Friday.
Had a lot of cheeky offers but the LOWEST I would be willing to accept is £500 if the buyer arranges and pays for the courier of their choice to collect and deliver.

Audi A4/S4 B8 Alcantara Interior Front and Back
I am changing the interior of my car and will have the front seats, rear seats and rear centre console available for sale. They are in the leather/suede Alcantara trim. I was hoping to have them out already but they wont be out until this weekend. I can take more photos if needs be once they are out...

Re: Possible clutch issues
My Review from audi sport forum: More reading can be found at http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/s4-uprated-clutch.247370/ The only thing I would suggest from past experience is that it is worthwhile obtaining the uprated clutch fork from ECS as the older one is more prone to bending as I found ou...

Just make sure they replace all the following parts: Brake fluid B000750M6 VAG Lever 0B1141719K Ball pin 0B1141777B Piece 0B1141751 Thrust bearing 0B4198165 Gasket set 1K0798741 Cylinder 8k2721401h The main culprit seems to be a weak clutch fork (in BOLD above). I have had the transmission out 3 tim...

Re: Michelin pss, ps2 or ps3 ???
Had these on the S4 and cannot fault them for dry grip and wear rate. I have changed to Goodyear Eagle f1 asymmetric 2's and although they are not as sticky in the dry conditions, they are excellent in the wet... and staying up in Scotland, that is a good trait to have for a tyre. Overall though I w...

Re: Stock horsepower
Although I have my car tuned at stage 2 along with a Milltek non-res exhaust, I have had my car dynoed at each stage of modifications for comparisons (all on V-Power). Stock - 365 bhp Stock + Milltek - 375 bhp Stage 1 + Milltek - 430 bhp Stage 2 + Milltek - 475 bhp I was pleasantly surprised with th...

No worries
If you do not fancy ordering directly from them in the USA, try Awesome Gti in Manchester. They are official UK dealers for ECS products.

Re: I though she was the one, turns out she may not
I had a 2009 s-tronic with the sports differential and kept it for a year then changed it to a 2011 manual without the sports differential (as I wanted a manual and finding a manual with the sports differential was extremely difficult). Granted the sports differential (when it kicked in) gave me mor...

Re: Aftermarket Exhausts
Hi mate, I'd say that both systems sound similar to stock when driving normally. The non-resonated system definitely drones a little bit between 2500-2800 rpm in all gears. I found that changing down a gear cured the drone noise. So for example, cruising on the motorway at 70mph in 6th gear sits in ...
