What shall we get next?

Mercedes SLK 55 AMG - ordered and scheduled for November delivery.

I don't think the RS6 engine will fit in the S4 engine bay so it would have to be heavily modded to fit. Also why would Audi go to the trouble of developing a new engine for the S4 if they weren't going to use (a tuned version) elsewhere?

Still think V8 - no turbo's is more likely

A little underpowered, but will sit at 100mph all day (and 11mpg) with no noticable wind noise.

11 mpg at 100 is a little scary and would come as a big shock after my wifes current car (an A3 Tdi). Maybe I will have to look at an X3/X5 diesel after all
