Re: Squeaking rear suspension?
Guess it's not common then. Think I'll stick to plan A and spray some oil over all of the suspension.

Squeaking rear suspension?
I have noticed over the last month that the rear suspension on my B7 saloon (39k miles) seems to be squeaking. I guess I need to get underneath it and liberally spray some WD40 or spray grease over various bits of suspension, etc.
Is this common? Any tips other than what I'm planning?

Bluetooth problem
Used my phone as normal earlier today without any problem and now there are two issues: 1) It won't automatically connect up when I turn on Bluetooth - I have to manually connect it up. 2) When it is connected I can hear the person I've called, but they cannot hear me. Also, I can see a small icon s...

How do I send a message to somebody's private email?
I've just composed an email to somebody on here but the email is sitting in my 'outbox'. There is no obvious 'send' button???

Re: Fuchs Titan Oil
I changed to the Fuchs Titan 5w 40 oil at the last service and I am certain it now uses less oil if that is of any help.

Re: Any DRC specialists near South Bucks?
Hi - they look exactly what I'm looking for. I have also contacted Vagtune in Aylesbury (much closer to where I live) but haven't heard back from them yet.
I'll let you know who I take it to and the results.

Any DRC specialists near South Bucks?
I'd like to get my DRC checked as occasionally the suspension knocks and the tyres rub on the arches. I fitted 8mm front & 10mm rear spacers last year but don't think this is the problem.
My car had done 34k miles.
Any recommendations please - I don't want to take it to a dealer.

Re: What oil do you use??
I have also just switched to this and don't seem to have used any oil at all in the thousand miles or so I've done since the service which is unheard of and a real bonus so thumbs up from me for Fuchs Titan GT1 5w40 so far.FaisalJ wrote:I used to use castrol edge 5w30.

Re: Engine oil (again)
It's a lot better than £349 !!!
And, my car then has a full Audi service history which in my experience is worth a fair bit at resale or p/ex time.

Re: Engine oil (again)
I just told them that was what I wanted to do and if they could 'accommodate' me then they would get the work and potentially future work too.
Simple as that !
