I expect to pay 25.000£ for a 2000 S3 imported from germany.. I'm just in doubt wether the S3 is more Sporty than the new A3??

Hello everybody I'm in the procces of buying a new car but i have found myself in a pickle. I can't decide between a 2001 Audi S3 and a 2006 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI Quattro, What do you guys think?? I like the fact that the S3 is a special car, but it's also and old car.. And no i cannot afford the comming...
