RE: Idle problem...
My mechanic has done the pressure test and changed 1 DV pipe that was slightly leaking, but he didn't find other leaks. He also changed the N75 valve and both DVs (putting the original ones instead of the Forge I was using). After the replacement the car was a lot better (before the car couldn't ove...

RE: Idle problem...
Sorry I forgot to tell you the VAG COM output, that's why I'm asking here....
Rough idle: no problems.....
Limp Mode: Charge pressure maximum limit exceeded (tested both with remapped ECU and stock ECU: no differences)

Idle problem...
Hi all I have another problem with my B5 RS4 (remapped ASJ engine): sometimes at idle the revs are not constant and "dance" from 500 to 1000 rpm. In the meantime I see some black smoke coming out from the exhaust and smell fuel odour. If I start driving, the ECU is in limp mode (no turbos.....); I h...

Just talked with my mechanic and every problem seems to be solved. The issues were: - small air leak in a dump valve hose - wrong N75 valve (!!!): it has recently been replaced but with a wrong one (suppplied by local Audi dealer basing on chassis number)....no words.... - too warm spark plugs (they...

RE: Re: RE: Remap issues + Removing the speed limiter
Just talked with the mechanic: they put the original map but the problem remains exactly the same.
He is working on:
- air leaks
- ignition issues
Any other idea? Has someone experienced the same problem?
Thanks a lot for your help

Remap issues + Removing the speed limiter
Hi all I've just remapped my RS4 (made by a local engineer) and I have some troubles: - at WOT everything is fine :D - at 3/4 throttle, around 3500-4000 rpm the ECU goes in recovery, cutting the boost to 0,3 bar (normally is 1,3 bar). Releasing the throttle and pressing it again, the boost is full. ...

BUT I found out if you screw it a bit to far either way it actually stops working. Fortunately the N75 is still working: my brother and I reached 250 Km/h with no problem at all. The most important point is the fact that the little hesitation disappeared. I think the problem was caused by the spark...

Fuel filter replacement
Hello everyone, I try to change the fuel filter of my RS4 but I wasn't able to remove it. Can you explain me te procedure to replace it? Is it necessary to remove te rear seats? Thanks in advance. P.S. My car had a little hesitation at WOT at 5.000 rpm. Sometimes I had "Charge pressure positive devi...

Well...I'wasn't always at WOT...by the way the trip computer shows 14.9 ltr/100 Km. My car has now 2 new Bosh 110 Dump Valves that were changed 3-4 weeks ago. The "limp mode" was really sporadic. Infact 5 days before changing the N75 I reached (on the highway) the rev. limiter in 6th gear reaching 2...

Yesterday evening I changed the N75 boost control valve. I tested the old one with 9V battery: sometimes it remains closed. The second aspect is this: if I pump air from the bottom hose it escapes also from the hose that has to be closed if no voltage is applied. On the new one the air escapes only ...

[RS4-Limp mode] Still problems
Hello, I've tought to have solved my car problems: there was a broken Dump Valve and an air leak. The car worked fine for 2-3 weeks. Now the car sometimes goes in limp mode with a great loss of power...so I've to turn off the engine then turn on and the cars works fine. The VAG-COM says: Charge pres...
