Question inspection / service interval reminders
Have a question for the forum, might seem daft but want to check anyway as it’s been annoying me / playing on my mind. My Car is warning me on the console that it’s 4 days until an inspection is due, which aligns to exactly 3 years to the date the car was first registered, so an annual service remin...

Re: Oscar Goldman
Their pricing has always been high, I had a couple of their RS4’s on my auto trader save list and was surprised to see one of them still on it 9 months later when I was on auto trader recently. Cash flow obviously isn’t a problem and they must feel confident someone will buy it at that price.

Re: All issues and niggles with the B9 RS4
What did they do for the £800 + VAT? If it was a reputable detailer who did a full paint correction (most new cars are a shambles paint wise when they come out the factory) and a high quality ceramic coating then it’ll be money well spent. A lot of dealerships now retain the services of a reputable ...

Re: Cooling fans go wild.
Car has been in the workshop for 2 days to get this fixed, they called today (day 3) to say I could take it back and then phoned again shortly after to say that the Master Technician (who I'm told is quite anal about his work  ) wanted to check it all over again today to make sure everything...

Re: Cooling fans go wild.
The power of the forums, had an issue tonight and remember reading this post last month... Drove about 20 miles this evening and as I pulled up at a junction there was an awful lot of noise coming from the fans, drowning out the noise of the engine. Fans running full blast with engine on and for abo...

Re: Getting PPF fitted in Scotland
Looks properly mint, have a mythic black RS4 B9, had it paint corrected and ceramic coated but want something a little more protective as black is a nightmare to keep nice. Have contacted looking to get a price. How do you find keeping it clean once it’s PPF’d, have you had had to change how you car...

Re: 3M / Scotchguard / PPF - Rear Bumper
Have actually kitted the back out with a full Hatchbag setup, with the bumper flap option, which is excellent. The reason for the extra PPF protection is because the dog has a tendency to plant his feet on the bumper flap (and therefore the bumper) as he jumps out of the car. On my SQ5 with a UK cus...

Re: 3M / Scotchguard / PPF - Rear Bumper
Before I forget and anyone else picks up on this thread and buys it. I tried to install this the other night, annoyingly it didn’t quite fit, had a really annoying little lip overhanging the back of the car which just wouldn’t stick down, tried cutting it but made an a*se of it so it went in the bin...

Sports Exhaust - Cleaning the black tips
What do people do for cleaning the black exhaust tips on their RS4’s? Quick search around the internet has lots of advice from BMW owners around cleaning BMW black exhaust tips but also a lot of confusion and doubt about what to use and damaging the finish, etc. Interested on what you guys do as par...

Re: 3M / Scotchguard / PPF - Rear Bumper
Thanks, unfortunately the person selling the pre-cut PPF on eBay no longer does, so the search continues.
The rearguard is an option but was looking for something transparent so it’s not obvious.

3M / Scotchguard / PPF - Rear Bumper
Picking up black RS4 today :D and starting to work to protect it from the Dog following lessons learned from owning a black SQ5 for the last 4 years. Does anyone know where I can get a pre-cut Clear Bra / 3M Scotchguard rear bumper protector for the RS4? Audi did one for the Q5 / SQ5 but they don’t ...

Re: RS4 Sport edition
I passed on the sports edition as it just had too many things that I would have spec'd and I don't think you should compromise as it'll annoy you every time you get in the car. To Brooner's point, better spec'd cars out there and I've located a fully loaded 2nd hand option which I'm going to go for ...
