Re: Giving up mr RS6
I must admit, I am not really bothered about .2 or .3 of a second here or there, I can safetly say I wouldnt notice it, nor use that diferance performance. All I can say is I am loving the extra comfort, build quality and technical features of the Panamera over the RS6. whilst I would not hesitate t...

Re: Giving up mr RS6
Well, I was a little worried I would miss the "kick" of the RS6. Well, I dont. Its fantastic. The demo I had was in the normal 4S, which I felt was very high revving and didnt have much "meat", but I fell in love with the interior, so took the risk of ordering the turbo without trying one. The car i...

Re: Giving up mr RS6
I should be getting the Turbo by the end of this month. Getting excited. Sorry to see the RS6 go, but after reading more about the Porsche, I think I am going to enjoy it as much as I did the RS6.
And I dont think you have to be over 50 to drive one

Giving up mr RS6
My RS6 is going. It is coming up to three years old and its been the perfect car. I was so so close to getting the RS6 performance, or the S8 performance, but despite my best efforts, I could not get a demo from anywhere, or if I could, it was just for a 30 min spin. I therefore have left the brand,...

New Injectors
An orange engine warning light came on the other day, I took it to dealer, they put it on the diagnostic kit and it said it needed a "re boot". This they did and it seemed to solve the issue. However, after a days driving the light came on again, I took it in again, and this time I was told it neede...

Re: Should I change ?
I have decided on my replacement car.. I have ordered a Honda NSX.... Not as practical as the Audi, nor does it have a heated steering wheel. But I think it will be as much fun

Re: Should I change ?
I am seriously thinking of the E63. Direct comparison really, and I do like the Panamara. The only problem with the Porsche is you cannot get any discount. All other brands you can. I compared the Panamara against an s class AMG, and when both cars were speced to how I wanted them, and the Merc disc...

Should I change ?
I have had my RS6 for 30 months now and fancy a change. I thought about an s8 plus, but despite 4 attempts at trying to get my local dealer to quote me a PX against a new one, let alone trying to sort out a demo, I have given up with Audi. I am considering a Porsche Panamara, Merc C class AMG C63s E...

Re: Has anyone got a service plan on their C7?
I have a service plan that includes everything, as well as tyres. It costs £124 per month based on 15000 m/p/a. In my opinion it is not worth it . It goes in for the regular services, if anything is "near" the limit of changing, ie brake pads, discs etc, they wont be done until they reach the min. I...

Re: New Car Run In
As above, I used to race motorbikes. When I had new engines fitted, or a new bike, best advice given to me was to nail it from day 1. Never ever had any issues, the only time the engines broke, was when I crashed :-) Did the same with my C7, I have done 30k miles and apart from some niggly electrica...

Re: C7 RS6 Picture Thread
I dont know about that. I dont think I would get permission. You need to be a highly skilled driver to handle the power of the Twingo, and I dont yet think I meet that criteria. Maybe after a few more years of driving both the Aston and Audi I may progress to such advanced levels
